Question for those who read the entire leak/most of it/a lot (I only saw few lines). Does Shepard go alone in this mission/part of it? It seemed so from some of the lines I saw??? It would be great if they brought back the sqaud/crew voice actors EVEN if Shepard goes solo on the mission. Refreshing from Arrival mute Joker
They'll likely do what they did with the DA2 DLCs and have the VAs record lines for 2 (or if we include EC, 3) DLCs all on the same day

I don't know about that. If this is the oldest Reaper, the first one made (from what it sounds) it might be a bit different than the Reapers we currently know. Perhaps it isn't in the same "hive mind" like Harbinger and the others.BLAHBLUE2001 wrote...
So a reaper can possibly go choose to ignore its directive? Hmm glad I choose destroy.
Either way. Must say it sounds interesting.

Yeah, I bet the squad recorded stuff for the Leviathan DLC already. Raphael Sbarge tweeted about 2 four-hours sessions and what Kaidan says in EC (means 3 sentences) definitely didn't take 8 hours to record, I don't belive it lolguardian of hades wrote...

There is only a very small amount of information on the DLC in the file, mostly squad mate reactions and such, but it sounds like the DLC might be split into two parts/missions, one part where it sounds like you are with your squad and another where Shep goes solo. I could be wrong though, it’s difficult to draw any conclusions from this without any kind of context.

One presumes he's talking about his creators, who, it seems, were used to create Harbinger.

Gotta love how IGN doesn't even bother to warn about the spoilers and goes all "Next ME3 DLC will deal with rouge Reaper named Leviathan" lol o.O
It's not much of a spoiler, we don't know exactly what the DLC contains if it is real at all.

We know nothing; just some random lines.
Can it be ComiCon soon? I want to know if this is what they are announcing.

Oh hmm. But Leviathan is still really really old. He's a Reaper. Perhaps a prototype Reaper? He just sounds older than Harbinger in some of the lines. I dunno.
The Catalyst does say something about how his creators were the ones to create the Reapers while the Catalyst gave them purpose, but then he turns and says that the creators were turned into the first "true" Reaper against their will.
There may have been some kind of proto-Reaper that was purely synthetic before the "true" Reapers that were created to preserve technology and knowledge(?) Perhaps the proto-Reaper is following the old solution to facilitate synthetic/organic peace while the new "true" ones are harvesters?
I don't know.

So far we only know Mike Gamble will be covering the developing stage of the Extended Cut. If they are going to announce something I haven't heard about it.

The Leviathan of Dis is the name given to a gigantic corpse that disappeared from a crater on Jartar in 2163. It is believed to be the remains of a genetically engineered starship and its age was originally placed at nearly a billion years old.
Unfortunately, there was little time to study and uncover the true nature of this mysterious find. Not long after its discovery by a batarian survey team, a batarian dreadnought visited the Dis System, after which the Leviathan mysteriously disappeared. The batarians have since strenuously denied that the Leviathan existed at all. They become even more vocal when shown documentation of the Leviathan by salarian researchers before its disappearance.
“There won't be an Earth left to save...” — Spoilers for Mass Effect 3 follow.
Provided he survived the events of Bring Down the Sky, Balak will tell Shepard that the Leviathan was actually an inactive Reaper which ended up indoctrinating most of the system when the scientists accidentally reactivated it. Afterwards they infiltrated and sabotaged the Hegemony's defenses opening the way for the Reaper invasion of their territory.
Something I'm not getting here: the Alliance News Network posts that lead up to the release of ME3 were mostly about the sudden lockdown and subsequent evac of Khar'shan and the Harsa System
If that's so, how and why would a rogue Reaper facilitate the taking of the Hegemony and all that it would mean?
Adding that to Balaks comments it just doesn't quite add up for me.

Holy ****. I called it! I freaking called it! Back when ME3 was first released I theorized that Harby could have been the "Creator" reaper they made. Wow.Ainyan42 wrote...

I've got the feeling it's real too. If Bioware wasn't going use those lines for DLC then they would have just removed them right?

Not necessarily; they could simply have been too busy to remove them if they changed their minds.

from what ive read he's organic, and remember the reapers are a synthetic representation of there creators. maybe the reapers were based of the leviathansVelocithon wrote...

It might have not been "awake" yet. Remember the derelict Reaper still had the ability to indoctrinate the Cerberus scientists even though it was considered dead.Steel Dancer wrote...
