Didn't the Catalyst say something about the Reapers being modelled on his creators? And that the original Reaper resented it's new form?
Did he actually say something like that, or was it the painkillers talking to me again?

Ha. Naw, you wanna see straight-up F'ed? I submit to you, the original frontispiece of Leviathan when published in 1651. LIke I've been saying for months, especially in context of the Divine Comedy parallels in Citadel: the Return, somebody on that writing team is ludicrously well-read.Taboo-XX wrote...
As long as we don't get a Reaper called Zarathustra I'll be fine.

he said they unwillingly underwent the transformation but the catalyst and its creators both deemed it necessary.

That particular scene shifts to Harbinger, Harbinger himself didn't resent the form but the people that sacrificed themselves to give birth to Harbinger did.

Bolded the one that particularly caught my attention... Definitely never heard that line before, but it sounds like something that'd fit in ME2...? Is this a prequel DLC...?
Seems to me as though in the DLC, Shepard will rescue the Anna woman mentioned in the notes from a dig site.

This sounds really cool.
I have to read the books to find out more don't I? About the Leviathan of Dis?
First three books are about Anderson, and they don't involve the Krogan homworld so no you shouldn't have to read them. Just go the wiki. But they were pretty good stories.

Will they change the ending to a crappy one, now?
All jokes aside, prior to ME3 I thought there would be some good Reapers. Knowing as they are each a nation, independant. seems like they were very dependant.

It seems to me like it's Liara making a joke. The bolded followed up by the next line makes it seem like a saucy joke
You're probably right - the last time you rescued a scientist from an overrun digsite, she went on to take out the Shadow Broker... and here's another digsite, another female scientist... heh. Yeah, almost definitely a joke. Especially since there's a good bit more dialog in there, too - there's at least two sets, maybe three, that were definitely Javik, one or two for Steve... weird thing, to me, there's a couple that sound like they could be Jacob. Him or Garrus. (Wouldn't think it'd even be possible to confuse the two, but with it being text-only, with no indicators of tone or context...?)

This is a text file from the DLC download that was datamined. It may hint at a new DLC dealing with the first Reaper named Leviathan... otherwsie we have no hard details.Blue Liara wrote...
I don't understand. Is this stuff in the new DLC an indication of future DLC? Stuff that happens before these new endings?

It can't be the Leviathan of Dis. The name of the scientist in the file (Ann Bryson) is most definitely human , and she and others(according to this file) have been studying it for ten years. No way it can be the Leviathan of Dis as it was in Batarian hands since 2163. It most be another reaper going under the name Leviathan. Afterall, Leviathan of Dis was a nickname given to the reaper by the Salarians or Batarians that first found it.
I CANT JUST DREAM ABOUT A BATARIAN SQUADIE ??? HOW DARE YOU COME AT THIS WITH LOGIC?

Yeah definitely saw Javik dialogue, maybe some Tali and Garrus. It seems like dialogue for a male Shepard, but who knows.Dan Dark wrote...

Trust me, I've wanted a Batarian Squadmate since before Mass Effect 2, and when I saw the title of this thread I thought maybe this was it. But when I read that a human scientist was studying this reaper, my heart was broken.I-AM-KROGAN wrote...
