Yeah but you gotta wonder if they didn't encourage him to spill half the beans to spark interest and one has to question exactly how much the actor even knows about the subject matter.. A lot of the dialogue hints at encountering a member of the race that created the reapers. Maybe there is a rogue reaper and and leviathan. that would be cool too.SirLugash wrote...

Someone here described what bioware is doing is leaving a bread crumb trail. So that would mean that after reading the leaked dialogue and knowing that the reapers were made in the image of their creators and they just so happen to look like squids thus their creators were most likely an aquatic species then do we assume the underwater atlas pic is a confirmation that leviathan is not a reaper but a leviathan? Fits with some of the dialogue such as leaving them in their abyss and the reapers not fully exterminating their creators.

That friggin' catalyst is the worst thing to happen to a series since jar jar binks, literally everything involving it just undermines the entire trilogy. And I'm left confused and angry once again.

Thats my problem I cant stop coming here. I've been on these forums every single day for the past 4 months or however long its been, looking for clarification, a hint of hope that. Ioware really isnt as stupid as they're making themselves look and I'm still searching for answers as to how the **** they dropped the ball so hard in the last 20 min. There's a freakin star trek next gen author offering them story help for crying out loud. It's embarrassing.
Embarrassing for bioware because its making them look like amateurs, embarrassing for me because I actually care about this series, and theoretically embarrassing for shepard because he's the guy who has to actually deal with these ****** poor excuses for endings. Poor guy.

So I'm not sure.
If the interview is totally correct, he said he plays "the rogue Reaper Leviathan" and not just he plays "Leviathan" (which could be interpreted differently), so that pretty much focuses on an actual Reaper (which I think is great).
Maybe it is both, a rogue Reaper and the last survivor of the Reaper-creating race, that would be the best imo.
But there is also the possibility that Skordi just said he is playing "Leviathan" and the guys at Eurogamer misinterpreted that because the rumours of the Leviathan DLC said so.
As I said, I don't know for sure, but I hope it is about a rogue Reaper (and maybe also about the last survivor) and we get some background about the Reapers and some involvement of Harbinger.

Very True. Some of the dialogue hinted at more fleshing out of harbinger's story but like you said who knows. That would be even better. That was the ONLY thing that really cheesed me off about the orignial endings was that they filled in ZERO blanks about their origins and history. That was what I waiting for since my first time playing Virmire way back when.

Also, I remember that I wanted to kick Harbingers butt ever since he said "You failed" in the end of ME3 and especially after the conversation in Arrival.
But well, who knows what Bioware has in store for people like us ^^

With the endings of the franchise, there is no battle with Harbinger possible later than ME3.

Well the endings are final so if Harbinger is going to be included in any DLC he will probably appear in a hologram and threaten Shepard just like in Arrival, but there are no possibilities of a boss fight with him... unless... well Bioware has stated that if we knew what was coming our reaction would be different, but our original reactions were to the endings and Bioware has already released EC to fix the endings and do not plan on expanding them further, so how is further DLC going to change the fans reaction to the endings?SirLugash wrote...

Someone here described what bioware is doing is leaving a bread crumb trail. Fits with some of the dialogue such as leaving them in their abyss and the reapers not fully exterminating their creators.
A logical theory. But the "cuddlefish/squid-like" appearance is not the image of their creators. I made a thread about this the other day where I was kindly informed that the core of the reaper is what looks like the race that it was created after. That squid appearance that you speak of in your post is simply a synthetic shell/armour surrounding the unique core.

Generally, that's true, but the Catalyst said that his creators gave them form, which sounds to me that the Reapers were built upon their appearance.Boneyaards wrote...

Doesn't make kind of sense though, as there are several models and they look different from each other.

Don't buy it if it's for sale you only encourage more companies to sell unfinished games & pay for content that should have been part of the main game.

I wonder if it would have a connection to the Direlect Reaper then. It's hard to imagine a species with a weapon so incredibly powerful of creating a large rift in the crust of a planet while attempting to kill a reaper.

That is how the industry works. Consider that Bioware actually cares for the time being with releasing DLC packs for MP that are free of charge.
Developing costs them money. The damage has been done and I'm actually surprised thus far Bioware has kept their DLCs free but it's only a matter of time before a chapter releases that costs money.
In the end, blame Microsoft - it all started with Microsoft.

We know Leviathan is the SP DLC they've been working on (given the leaks, the underwater screen at SDCC etc) right?
Well, it might be finished already:
From Chris Priestly on the 18th of July:
After I get to the office I read and respond to all the emails that came
though since I left work the day before. Emails happen throughout the
day along with IMs, drop by meetings, etc
I usually have meetings during the day that take up time. I always have a
chat window open with Jessica (she works in our Los Angeles studio and I
am in Edmonton) so we can talk about things.
I read through the BioWare Social Network threads, answering PMs,
working with moderators, replying in threads, enforcing the rules, etc
Jessica and I are currently planning our convention plans, so we send emails to vendors and partners while we get our plans set.
If the game is ready, I play through upcoming content (I am playing through the next SP DLC for example)
And I drink a lot of coffee.

Why would they charge for Multiplayer DLC?
Rumor has it that Bioware Points sales exceed $75m since release
Not sure if that's true, but regardless, I'd expect to see more free multiplayer packs, each with more awesome weapons/items that are hard to get and will encourage lazy people to fork out for spectre packs

Obviously they have a lot of stories to tell, probably with a lot of background information and stuff.
Some IT people believe that at the very end of the DLC cycle, they will release the "real ending" with all the previous DLC building up to it (I did too pre-EC).
@TSA: That sounds interesting, maybe the DLC will be out very soon.
