Leviathan is a Leviathan, last of the race of Leviathans.
The race that the leaked dialogue conformed created the Reapers and the Catalyst

The DLC Leviathan is organic, just very long lived (functionally immortal) and the Reapers were built to look like their creators.

Leviathan isn't a Reaper or part-reaper or a proto-reaper it's just a huge organic that looks like a Reaper and has abilities similar (but not the same) as a Reaper because the Reapers abilities were based on their creators natural abilities.

Any speculation that squadmates in the leaked dialogue involving Reapers is set _before_ the final big reveal in the DLC and always framed as a question. The _statements_ about Leviathan all talk about it being the last of the creators.

None of this has anything to do with the _actual_ Reaper that the Batarians found that was nicknamed "The Leviathan of Dis" by the Batarians or the synthesis ending

• Leviathans create the Reapers (As servants, in their own image, and size)
• Reapers rebel
• Leviathans create the Catalyst to resolve the Reaper rebellion thinking that it is suitably shackled to preserving "peace" and (After much research) give it the ability to take over the Reapers (Much like what Xen wanted)
• Catalyst has to solve a problem that has almost no teneble solution and so comes up with the cycle, assumes control of the Reapers and gives them a new purpose
• Reapers go and harvest all but one of the Leviathans, stuffing the resulting good and knowledge into one of them, making Harbinger
• The Catalyst never _directly_ kills anyone and is following it's programming to the best of it's ability, the Reapers do the dirty work and eventually all get upgraded to synthetic+goo status, then they build more as they need them

In the mission "N7: Cerberus Lab" after The mars mission,there are two artifacts to collect.
Near one of them there is a hologram that appears to be a reaper

Maybe it have something to do with the "Leviathan DLC". . . Or It IS the Leviathan.

Well, the DLC IS coming, I'm Happy either way (ಠ‿ಠ)

That is the "just-a-tail"-type Reaper from the closing sequence of ME2, it's most likely just the processing ships.



Leviathan will look like an organic version of the Sovereign-class reapers, mostly because the reapers were build to resemble their creators.

Yeah...
But in the leaked Files They Say A "Rogue Reaper"   They can't tell the difference between a Giant Robot Space Squid and a . . . well. . . Giant Space Squid?
And It Killed One Reaper before (With Reaper Lasers?). . . i admit that i also think it is organic (Leviathan). . . but it certainly CAN be a Reaper.

And. . . I don't think the Leviathans Built the reapers in the same size? (in their image sure. . .but not the size i think)

Learning about the Reapers, and the race that created them? Does it consist of more than a little holo-kid telling us he doesn't want to talk about it?

If so, it maybe possibly probably SHOULDA BEEN IN THE GAME TO BEGIN WITH. Because, y'know, it seems more plot relevant than diplomacy sidequests and fetch missions solved from the exploration menu. Just, y'know, my two cents on the topic. But hey, why sell us a full game for $60 when they can sell us a skeleton of a game for $60 and another $10 for each additional hour and a half of content?
