Well, I'll be brief but it seems to me that each ending would lead Bioware into making a different kind of game if they choose one as canon.

Synthesis -  While I expect this one is highly unlikely to be used as canon it would most likely take the form of an espionage game.  There is no multi-cultural or multi-racial conflict but there would still be political and individual intrigue to explore in the new world.

Control - This cries out for a real time strategy game.  Races like the Krogan, the Rachni and so on could cause no end of trouble in the galaxy and it would be up to Space Jesus (TechnoShep) to marshall his forces and fight them while defending the innocent.

Destroy - This is by far the most likely to be canon in my opinion and would allow the Mass Effect story to continue, perhaps even with Shepard as the main character.  As above, the Krogan, Rachni and other primitive races represent a real threat to the safety of races like Humans, Turians and Asari so the game would continue.  I imagine there would be a real 'post apocalypse' feel to the game as technology has taken a step back in many areas and synthetics, if the exist at all, will be in the very first stages of development.

Anyhow, just some thoughts.  Do you guys think another Mass Effect will happen?
