To add on with my personal experience and that of some others here,

Even after you have seen Chris(bioware) announcing that "all commendation packs have been sent out and that we should contact support if we should get it but didn't", support might not be that willing to assist you in getting it.

What I mean to say is that your mileage might vary depending on who handles your case.

For example(mastiff),after I saw Chris's announcement(about 6 hours from the time posted) about all commendation packs having already been sent out, I contacted EA support chat but the fellow attending to me told me that there is nothing he/she could do as they do not have any commendation packs to give out yet.He/she told me to wait about a couple more days instead.

I ignored that advice and immediately queued myself up again in the chat support line.The next person attending to me was a different person and upon knowing my issue,he/she immediately went to "check" my game account and credited my commendation pack.I logged back into the game and viola,I had the commendation pack!

I do not know why the first person who handled me gave me such an answer....either he/she is a newbie staff or the person simply cannot be bothered.

Some others have mentioned that chat support even told them to wait a week to see if the packs show up.DON'T WAIT FOR A WEEK!

There is a limited time period in which support can hand out the commendation packs as they have an expiry time.If you wait for a week and contact support,you won't be able to get your commendation pack as the period would have expired by then.Others who contacted support after a week were told so.

I'm from south-east asia and many others from my region seem to have trouble getting it for every ops so far.4 of my friends from the same country had the same issue every op too.We were patient considering that we waited at least 2 days(excluding mastiff) from the time we saw the first post of someone having received their commendation pack .

It seems only people from the US and certain major countries in Europe have no issue getting them.Far flung or smaller regions seem to frequently get the short end of the stick:(

Just a quick question - Has all platforms received their Comm.Packs? I'm PC here and is about to use the EA support, but don't wanna embarrass myself because "Oh, the Commendation Pack for PC version isn't released yet till xx hours later." Or something along those lines ;p

Commendation packs have definitely started going out quite a number of hours ago,however Bioware has not made any official announcement that all commendation packs have been sent out.Hell,they have not even announced the success of this Op.

As a general guideline,the earliest you should contact support is a day after you have gotten the victory pack.Maybe 2. Even then,depending on which support staff is handling your case,you might not get it like the example I outlined in a couple of posts above.

I'm Brazilian and, for every commendation pack I got, I had to contact support at least one time to receive it. That's 8 times so far (6 comm packs, not counting the current one, plus some unhelpful attendants), and I'm sure I'll have to contact them again to receive this one.

It's getting really annoying.

Yeah,we should only contact support once Bioware has made an announcement that all the commendation packs should have already been sent out.However if they don't make any announcement after 3 days,I think people should just go ahead and contact support nevertheless.With the time limit (expiry) on those packs,we cannot afford to wait for a week and above to see if it magically pops out.

You are right. I posted somwhere here why I always suggest mailing them instead of going into chat: basically if you mail them they are less likely to get back to you with other questions and rather reread your message and give you what you want, they are not under pressure like they feel they are when chatting in real time, and can work on your case with little to no time constraints. Plus if you get someone who can't help you via mail, you just send the same mail again and someone else will pick it up, instead of having to wait for the chat to connect you with another operator.

I received another Crusader upgrade. This is the fifth week in a row without having unlocked the Valiant yet. I am not generally one to complain, however this is getting a bit ridiculous. Be warned Bioware if it is the Crusader - (the worst N7 gun/Shotgun) again I will be forced to take... steps.

The Eagle is by far the worst N7 gun, the crusader at least can be used effectively. Though I too would be a tad annoyed if I got the same gun over and over (unless of course it was the Valiant. That would be fine).

Hurricane again done the events 5 times got 4 hurricanes 1 crusader which i got first time every time since has been Hurricane

I have to disagree. The N7 Eagle is an excellent sidearm for the Turian Soldier as it compliments the N7 Hurricane. While the N7 Eagle on any other class is not extremely effective it fulfills its role as a sidearm, a secondary weapon. The Crusader is not an effective weapon in close quarters where a shotgun is meant to reign. Nor is it as effective as other alternatives are at medium and long range. All in all it is a weapon that performs poorly.

but at least it was equipment, because ever since some people complained about character cards being difficult to get I ONLY GET CHARACTER CARDS, even in the victory pack. damn it! even in the victory pack I no longer get anything else but character cards.
