If you actually spec for duration, it was barely a decrease at all. Not that you should have been able to do Objectives by yourself, anyway. Again: This is a team game, your team should be helping you.

That is true, I'm very tempted to use a respec card now for duration. But its still a team game even if I do the objectives by myself, the other 3 teammates can hold off and kill off as many enemies as possible while I get the objectives. On the bright side I can still revive people pretty easily.

Would never thought I'd see the day when Infiltrators were (more) balanced, Crusader, Wraith shotguns weight decreased significantly, and the new drop system after completing all those character cards!!! Keep up the fantastic work Bioware ME Multiplayer Team!

With this "nerf" to Tactical Cloak now in effect, I wonder if we'll see more people using Vorcha for objective completion instead of Infiltrators?

So this means that you will bring back weakspots on bosses to give infiltrators (and everybody else) an incentive to be successful by aiming well, instead of just using the damage bonus from cloak like many people did until now, or just spamming biotic explosions like most people will do from now on?

The TC change is definitely much needed. It makes people choose to either be an aggressive damage cannon OR a team/objective/rez type of player. The previous 8 seconds (10+ secs through rank 3) allowed incredible survivability for both types of play so most would choose damage.

Also: For a GI, the rank 6 TC choice to fire 1 power seems a lot more appealing with a 20% debuff mine/mine damage and forces more of a decision there too.

Liking these changes. Now I'm just patiently waiting for the Incisor to get some love and just about everything will be gravy.

None the less if cloak and then activate the objective you decloak before the objective is capped. This is from personal experience with the new cloak.   Before the change my cloak was something like 13 sec.

Everything seems fine except changing level 3 gear to Uncommon, just leave them all blue and put the level IV in the Rare slot for a CC replacement, no need to change the Rarity of them as it now make getting level three stuff even more frustrating considering how much stuff watered down the pool through DLC.

Good they made some things lighter. Infitraitor gets nerfed but with new level 4 equipment he has not really changed that much add in the gear, and basically they just buffed everyone.

It doesn't really affect me that much, and it is not the worst nerf ever.
But I still hate it.

And the TEAMwork for caping a 1234 objective? 3 members draw the aggro, 4th caps. if ANY enemy follows 4th it's their job to kill it.
Solution to the issue of being follow? TC lasted for 10.4 seconds at the lowest set. now? 5.2

Good luck getting away from any enemy with that.

But it is well UNDER the original used of 14.4. and if you DON'T take the evo 4 duration? you get a whoping 5.2 seconds.

It's not 13, trust me.  I routinely activated Cloak a fraction of a second before starting the objective and my Cloak ended slightly before the objective.  The full, un-extended Cloak (10.4s) was nearly enough for the objective.  Plus I'm pretty sure the max cloak before was about 13-and-a-half, not >14.

I didn't prove your point, I was dis-proving Lord Chun's claim that objectives took 13 seconds.

Keep in mind you had to activate cloak right before starting the objective.  That slight off-set at the start more or less corresponds to the offset at the end.

But fine, it is in fact longer than 10 seconds (closer to 10.5).  But rounding makes things nice and simple.

But I still agree with your primary point re: Cloak & Objectives.

Alternately, and this is something I just thought of and haven't had a chance to test, maybe the Cloak timer didn't start counting down until you were fully Cloaked.  That might explain the discrepency we're arguing about.

How do the new changes to equipment interact with Jumbo Equipment Packs? Do all of the items appear in them, or do the uncommon ones continue to at least?
