This is ... acceptable. Im definately goin to spend some time switching between Duration and Damage for TC to see which i like on who.

Great changes, not sure why black widow needed a decrease in weight but other than that nice job.

Regular Human Adept. Ex-Cerberus's heavy melee base is 350. They would also need to list it for both the Adept and Vanguard in the changelist.

....Well the good news is that now I will probably look more into toting my Black Widow around to compensate for the now missing damage that made my Mantis deadly. Since the weight decrease means more of a reason to use it over the now defunct Mantis potential.

Bad news... they ****ed the Sniper hardcore on this one. I now have no reason to tote around semi-automatic rifles at all save the Black Widow. The Mantis will be missed. She was a hard worker and faithful to the end. Rest in peace ole' girl. You've fought well.

Thanks to the reduction in weight. The Black Widow will be more viable since that was the only reason I didn't use it as much as the Mantis. May also have to look at dusting off the Widow again. The TC duration is pretty cool though. It kind of forces me into a more mobile play.

It's a bit weird that the 10% damage reduction is of the base damage rather than evolution 2.

Hm. I suspect the TC change was a solution to the wrong problem. I don't think you're going to see less selfish infiltrators who mainly go for getting kills with this. The 40% extra damage is still too attractive not to take, but now you don't have enough duration to help the team with tasks that do not involve killing.

Personally, I would have kept or even increased the base damage bonus a bit, and then reduced the rank 4 damage bonus evolution to maybe 20-25%.

I myself would have done the same with the damage evolutions, as well as the base damage, but not as harshly to the base duration.  But let's see how this plays out and how many rage-based threads come this week (I'm calling alot)

You're probably correct.  They should have taken the 10% damage away from the Rank 4 Evo instead of the base damage, or maybe 10% from both base AND Rank 4, while only nerfing Rank 6 Snipers to 30%.  That would have been better, I think.

Also I feel that 4 seconds is a bit too severe.  Should have been 6 seconds base, 7.8 seconds at Rank 3, and 13.8 (about same max as before) with Rank 4 Duration at 100% instead of 150%.

Horrible nerf on tc. Random random gold will now be much harder. This will decrease game variety because now more people will only be able to do fbwgg. I expect the success rate of random gold public matches to significantly drop and for the number of fbwgg matches played to dramatically increase. I Also expect a lot of people to quit.

Yay for the character card changes. Its about time. Huge thumbs down to the tc nerf.

Overall the TC was bad. Nerfing the duration took it a step too far. You hear the idiot nerfers saying now it will seperate the bad infiltrators from the good. Nope now your gonna have the opposite. Builds are gonna be more damage focused which will equate to more selfish game play. A choice of kill stuff or help the team. Most of you know the answer in that choice.

As for the rest of the changes good. Just still not hot on the javelin, gun still has the issues of shield gating on gold. Saber though with the buffs is becoming my new favorite head shotting gun. My vorcha thanks you on the on weight reduction of the wraith.

On PS3 the third level of TC is now doesn't work. Should provide a 1.2 seconds increase. It doesn't at all. For example you should get 5.2 second of duration with it, however you only get 4.

I love how people assume that Gold runs will be harder now, if you need a specific class to finish something you need to learn to play, but whatever makes you feel loved playing your little infil.

Depends how you look at it. Yes, it's certainly still very viable on the damage front and general gameplay. But that major nerf in duration is going to make the disarm objectives somewhat more of a hassle than they were.

Players most effected by this will be public players. All pub infiltrators will spec for damage. The best team is now 3 infiltrators specced for damage and one for duration...

Most very good players playing with friends on maps other than fbwgg will continue to win.  Public gold games that are not fbwgg will fail more often and become more rare as a result.  

Hardcore all day every day players will thus be largely unaffected while more casual players will have an experience that is less fun. Hopefully sniiper rifle 35% damage buffs will be coming soon.

I love the encumbrance decrease on several of my favorite weapons. I also love forcing infiltrators to choose between damage output and utility. I for one will choose the latter.

I think the TC sniper damage nerf was 40% to 25%. That's excessive, considering most damage is blocked by shield gating. But As I can still stack the Geth infiltrator with Hunter mode, damage evolutions and a mrk III Javelin for huge damage output. Hopefully I will still be able to headshot most things on silver and inflict heavy damage on gold.

The Tac cloak duration. Which needed to be decreased, to be honest, as someone who plays an infiltrator regularly. As there was little point in taking duration evolutions as going all out damage still gave us 8 seconds of cloak time anyway.

I'm still going all out sniper damage with my GI, so to the chaps who will inevitably complain "why u no revive?, Why u no cap objectives?" Well, you're going to have to get up off your arses now and do it yourselves, or give me a hand instead of hiding in cover while I run around doing the objectives for you.

The words the grass is always greener on the other side or careful what you wish for springs to mind. Especially with the level of complaining from non inflitrators which might be coming in the next couple of weeks.

The tactical cloak got way over nerfed. The utility of it needs to be buffed so it is still useful as of now infiltrators are useless now. Way to fail BioFail.

Rubbish, only 4 seconds of cloak is a heavy cut, but we can still choose the duration or the damage.

I'm going for damage, and the rest of the team can fight among themselves as to whom is going to do the objectives. As I'm no longer doing it, and I'm not respecing characters because the rest of the team won't pull the stick out of its collective arse to sort itself out and find a way to do objectives without me doing it for them.
