As someone who has rolled her eyes at some of the more extreme Retakers...

I want to say thanks. The EC provided nearly everything I had hoped for. (Sorry to those who didn't get that. I know that there are several of you) It's thanks to your persistence, cupcakes, donations etc. that this DLC came about. It enriched my ME3 experience in many ways and I cannot imagine the game without it.

So, from a doubter, once more: Thank you. I know this probably means little to nothing. But I just wanted to express my gratitude & give credit where it's due.

And thank you, Bioware as well. :)

I haven't been able to play the EC yet, but I hope I share the same feeling that you do about it. Glad that you enjoyed it.

The Retake Movement helped provide closure to people who...already liked the ending anyway.

This was one huge, massive waste of time for absolutely everybody involved and I hate you all. *slams door, goes to bed*

I didn't like the endings. So, no. That's not true.

This. I am completely happy with what the EC provided and despite being fairly happy with the original, it just seemd empty after Priority Earth started in comparison.

So... sorry for some of the eye-rolling on my behalf.

Apologies for slamming the door. I have not eaten in a while and am cranky.

Glad you liked it anyway.

I hated the original endings yet felt satisfied during the extended cut. Do you really have to try to talk for everybody?

Well, I'm glad Bioware wasted their time then. It made me happier. Much happier, in fact.

Don't apologize. There's been no love in this whole affair from Bioware. It's been hate pretty much all the way through. Even when we were being cheeky in a friendly way with cupcakes, they were thumbing their noises at us in a corporate fashion. There's certainly no great love for the universe or fanbase from Casey Hudson. I don't know what that guy's issue is but he seems to sympathize with the Starchild.

Maybe Casey's just tired of Mass Effect.

I thank the Retakers (the ones who are sincere, logical and end their posts with not just 'Hold the Line' but 'Let's be civil'), not the haters (the ones attacking the BW staff and pro-enders and usually use the word 'turd' in their posts).

As a semi-retaker who mostly lurked, I am completely satisfied.
Plot holes mostly resolved.
Endings explained/expanded/differentiated (just check out the debates between people who like one ending and not another).

Oh, I would have loved a LI reunion scene, but since this game did everything short of use big flashy lights saying "they'll be together", I'm pretty good.

Assumptions. Lots of them.

Could we keep this thread positive, please?

I am satisfied because I know that a reunion is possible and heavily implied so I like it. More importantly, the EC has given me the "I feel like playing Mass Effect again" feeling, which is always good.

But now what will I talk about with the EC released?

I can't just tease the Synthesis people all the time.

Well, I'm happy now, and I hated it before the EC. Loved the "reject" ending and "destroy" was much more satisfying for me. I was just going to reload and see the other two, but now I think I'll save control for my next run. Synthesis can still burn in the fiery pits of perdition though.

The way I see it we would of got this DLC regardless... Just by leaving normal feedback they would of seen enough people wished to expand on the ending or have issue with it without the melodrama the movement caused and the threats they used. I will concede though I am glad the charities got cupcakes and other one donations even if I did find attaching a motive personally dubious to the money one leading people to give money expecting a new ending as opposed to enhancing the original then some getting refunds.

I didn't talk for everybody. I said I hated you all. Then I apologised. Don't make me take it back or I oughta *shakes fist*

Applauds lack of sincerity and full on smugness from the OP. Are you Eric Cartman? (compliment)

Congratz.
