It's not the ending I would have written, but it didn't have to be. Shepard didn't just roll over and accept everything starbrat told him. Ultimately, I can even tell the starchild to go screw himself. They filled in the worst of the plot holes, and I can even stretch my suspension of disbelief to accept the stealthy Normandy somehow evading Harbinger's sensors.

1. Except for the Geth, in the past couple hundred years in the ME universe has there ever been a problem with Synthetics reported? There appears to be no synthetic wars that rival the Reaper invasion that destroyed Javik's people, so why are the Reapers acting like synthetics pose such a major threat???? They are the greater threat! LOL.
2. After so many cycles, no one learned why the Reapers were reaping? What bull crap.
3. Why does Harbinger sound EVIL???? Why doesn't he sound like a friendly construct who is trying to do his job, which by the catalysts assertion is for the betterment of Organics and Synthetics.
Stupid, stupid writing bioware. Seriously.

Anyone who LOVED it is an idiot. Plain and simple. The Reapers purpose for reaping is ridiculous! Here are two reasons why:

Everyone's entitled to an opinion, i think EC has been overhyped way too much, our expectations have been building for months, so i guess that was inevitable...

BioWare were never gonna fully change the horrid origial endings, people expect too much. I went into it with low low expectations. Hell I didnt even know the EC was coming out today until I checked BSN for the first time in 2 months last night. So with low expectations I was pleasantly surprised.

I kinda hoped they would remove the "i was born in London" or the "Steeeeeeve" momentsbut ah well, it had nothing to the ending so i guess we will live with those weird parts
Interesting...I noticed there was no "STEEEEVE!!" moment when his shuttle went down. The closed captioning had it, but there was no audio from Shep when it happened. I do remember it happening the first time I played.

One thing that is for sure is that before I buy another Bioware game I will wait on opinions and thoughts before buying the next one. And NOT ONLY "professional" ones.

Pretty much how I felt. And Jere85, the fans who wanted the perfect ending and everything rewritten hyped up the EC. I am still shocked that people about 1 week ago or so still expected the endings to be different than their original themes as if they were going to make new endings to replace them.
People were just in denial.

It still has room for some improvements, but I found it to be emotional and conclusive, at least in my eyes.

Why would they remove that? That detail goes back to the first Mass Effect novel. The London thing with Anderson, I mean.
