played SI, top scored once again. A bit annoyed w the nerf, however, the damage nerf only made me take that 0.2 sec more lining up each shot to put the bullet right between the eyes. The duration.... that really fkd up. it was already short enough to put u in some trouble while doing objectives. Now.... let the krogan sentinel do it LOL

Running into the mob of brutes? Same thing. I wouldn't blame you for letting him just bleed.

I can't tell if you're trying to counter whateverman7's statement, but the part I highlighted from Eric's quote has just been reversed thanks to the duration nerf.

[Edit]Maybe if you could activate Cloak while in the process of dealing with an objective it wouldn't be so bad.  Now there's not even any point in Cloak automatically disabling once an objective completes.

Instead, you now NEED your team to give some cover fire while working an objective, which does not help matters.  It will only attract additional enemies to that position.

But I really don't condone just trying to ignore dying teammates...  given the window is much smaller though, it will take some timing and less of a blindly rushing to their aid now.  Might actually be an additional challenge.  Capping objectives will require more covering fire too.

Only thing is people will still complain, and probably more so now, as they'll see less frequent revives and jumping right at objectives.  Then again, whiners will always whine.  Maybe for the rest its all good, a good player can adjust somewhat to the changes.   A more sensible nerf would have been 6 seconds vs. 4 seconds though.

Yeah, it works both ways, unless you think you'll be immortal with your short cloak. Either don't rez me and don't get rezed yourself next time, or die trying to solo. We both lose gear and time, you realize that?

will check it later, how the changes in TC affects my gameplay. Use TC mostly on damage boost.

Show me somebody who actually made that claim. Then you can have your touche.

During this ENTIRE debacle, I never saw scoreboard ever mentioned except by the people on the anti-nerf side of the argument. If you're just going to make baseless accusations, they can certainly go both ways, and I'll be happy to throw some back at you.

Infiltrator is my favorite class in me3.   I don't think anyone wants their favorite class to get a nerf.   I mean you get excited when you just get a level 4 shotgun damage gear then you lose 10% the very next day.    Maybe it will drive some people from playing them - evidently that was bioware's purpose - since that was the concern they gave us.

Point is not to get rid of Infiltrators, but to stop people think that they can't win, or will have a hard time, without playing one. So everyone will pick a class/race based on his preference.

I think you won't even really ntice that nerf that much, and if it is too big, it can be always reversed, nothing is set in stone, and balance changes happen every week.

Whatever you mean by support class, Infiltrator's weren't one. Being the most efficient in killing enemies (of all kinds) is hardly a support.

I'm going to still take the Infiltrator and play. There clearly must be something wrong with me, because, well, I just don't sit in the corner with my Infiltrator and Krysae X, spamming shots all day long.

Or you can do both and still be awesome.  But that would require tactics.  You know the whole "tactical cloak" instead of "I WIN" button.  

If these changes affect you that badly then I'm sorry.

You sucked to begin with.  Time to find a new class or go back to silver.  

All this QQ is hilarious.  Play infiltrator 80% of the time and I love the changes.

Playing Infiltrator on Gold I always chose Duration boosts for the Cloak to revive team mates and complete objectives I always got all four Nodes unless there was another Infiltrator and staying in the Hack and killing enemies before they could get too close to threaten the team.

Whiners have spited themselves since now I at-least, will be choosing a power build to make up for lost score, not doing the Node waves (Since I won't have a decent cloak duration) I also won't be risking myself to revive a team mate (Also since I won't have the cloak duration)

The main class for doing objectives originally were/still are Vanguards, can't sit still for 3 minutes, really?
