The only thing really wrong with this was that the sniper rifles were not buffed in damage across their range as was suggested along with the changes to TC.

While I do think that cutting the TOTAL duration wasn't what anybody wanted, I still trust in Bioware's judgement. Strictly speaking, I never specced for Cloak Duration before- I never had a reason to. I could get an Objective done in the time of a total, un-specced Cloak cycle, and it would run out as soon as I finished. I would then hide for a second, recharge, and recloak so I could move onto the next objective / rejoin my team at the end.

At least this way, one person on the team will have a harder time ( note: it will still be entirely possible, just harder ) capturing all the objectives by themselves. It should encourage the team to help, and I honestly have no qualms with that. It is a team game, after all.

Indeed.  It's what the deranged nerfing community wanted right?  To do it on their own.  So they get to prove how awesome they are, and how they don't need infiltrators.  Should be interesting to see how it acftually plays out though.  Myself if I do play infiltrator I doubt I'll be going for the objectives.  The duriation is not nearly enough to give me any kind of advantage in that area.

I hope those who's narrow-sighted whining bought on these changes are packing plenty of medigel because good luck waiting for a revive now. With the duration as it is, you would be mad sticking your neck out trying to save a team mate like you would before.

Played lots of games without Infiltrators. Turns out, they aren't the only class who can rez somebody. The "revive" prompt didn't just appear when you were an Infiltrator under the effects of Tactical Cloak.

I think we're gonna be just fine, but thanks for worrying about us.

Indeed. Unfortunatly for all involved, thanks to the e-peens of the whiners who got their widdle feelings hurt because the big bad man with the sniper rifle had a higher completely arbatary score then him, the game takes a nose dive in fun for all involved. Think of all the times an Infiltrator has stealthed-ressed or turned an otherwise failing mission on its head by stealing an objective right under the enemy's nose. That won't be happening now.

 so, now instead of having 12 seconds to save a downed teammate who is across the map, I only have 10.

Yes, I can see how that is going to make me "more of a team player".

I will commit this to memory for the next time someone is on the boards howling about how they hate infiltrators because they aren't reviving as often as they are apparently supposed to.

The two second difference might not seem like much, but as I was already having to hope the person I just revived would be kind enough to revive me half of the time, as my cloak ran out just shy of getting them back up and I got shanked by a hunter, two seconds does make a difference. I'm going to have to cut back on rushing in to save peope who ran in or fell behind, and if I know these boards, those people will waste no time in coming over here and complaining that no one is playing the infiltrator properly.

I look forward to seeing just what the fallout of this turns out to be.

Nerfs only help people who have no life and can afford time to play video games all day. Winning in a timely manner and gaining maximum credits was fun.

I want the old sniper rifle infiltrator back. Unnerfed guns Fagnan did. It's sad when headshots don't work properly anymore but they do in all other games. I only liked the human infiltrator too. Don't enjoy the other classes as much, just not my style, so this games dead. need to watch erics career and not buy games he works on in the future. I just don't like how he balances things and listens to nobodies on the forums to guide his choices.

It certainly doesn't feel that way when my infiltrator goes down after reviving someone and is left to bleed out on the cold floor, but I'll take your word for it.

So glad I got to enjoy the enhanced viper for all of 4 days.
But the good news is, by ignoring objective and revives I can still top the leader board.
What was the point of the nerf again? To get me to do more objectives and revives? Be a team player? HAHAHAHAHA, no.
And I'm going to dump aggro on you more now, too, since I have to cloak more often.

I agree. No more going out of my way for the pro nerfers, they die? Not my problem, I'm lookin' out for #1 from now on.

As poetic of justice as that would be, sadly that hurts everyone, not just the ignorant muppets screaming for nerfs.

But yeah like I said earlier, hope you non-infiltrators have plenty of medigel. Giving up the 40% damage bonus simply isn't going to happen for any serious infiltrator. Especially with the other nerfs at the end of the tree.

No he's not and he's in the right to be angry. 

Anything marginally good gets demonized in this multiplayer. How is that fun? To play a game where anything good gets nerfed. I can see it now! Everyone running around trying to melee mobs to death because their abilities and weapons are no good. All because of the misery of a degenerate minority. 

Nerfs don't really have a place in a co-op game. But it's not even about that is it? Most pro nerfers are butthurt about being outscored, same old story. So now instead of being outscored and me ressing you, you're just gonna get outscored and bleed out or use consumables? Works for me. 

I'm not ressing them because I can't, I'm not ressing them because I won't.

Maybe you should practice what you preach instead of being a walking definition for the term "Hypocrite". Pretty much the only reason people were screaming for nerfs in the first place was due to bruised egos on the scoreboard.

Oh please... Get over yourselves. I've been revived by other classes as many times as I've been revived by infiltrators and I have capped objectives without the use of TC or a any sort of fire support on gold. So maybe PuG will be harder now. Big deal! Players will adapt.
