Agreed my faith in BioWare has been restored. While the endings do still leave certain things unanswered this time it's more for fun and speculation. Not gaping plotholes that don't make any sense. Well done indeed BioWare. I am very satisfied no matter how many times you've made me cry today. Seriously though did anyone else cry at least once during this? Those feels man.

I just wanted to extend my sincere appreciation to the team. The extended cut is incredibly well done and can't have been a cheap thing to produce.
The game still doesn't end exactly the way I would have wanted it to, but the new endings are so well-presented that I no longer care.

I cannot think of a better example of a company going the extra mile to satisfy its customers.

Bravo! Kudos!

Bravudos!

The new endings are.... better. I'm still upset that Shepard can't live.

Though they did remind me of the Fallout endings.

Wow...I am at a loss for words.

I chose Destroy; Tali was my love interest, and I had 95% Paragon with 6000+ rating. The EC brought me everything I was hoping for. The touching, sad goodbye between Shepard and Tali, an explanation for some (not all, but enough for me to be alright with what didn't get resolved) of the plotholes, and an ending I can feel good about. Plus, Shepard survived. It doesn't get much better than that.

Some will call us Bioware fanboys and fangirls for being happy with the EC. Let them. I'd rather feel the satisfaction I feel right now than the bitterness and anger they're experiencing.

Thank you, Bioware. You've redeemed yourselves and gave us back Mass Effect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You did the impossible, and that makes you mighty.

Agree! Thumbs up!

Especially for Catalyst's true voice (since everyone probably already mentioned everything else and I expect no one will mention such small detail ;P)! Loved that you revealed it!

Very happy with EC! :D

I personally think this resolves all the plot holes in ME3. I was *very* pleased with EC. Thank you for releasing it free of charge as well!

When ME3 first came out, I got that bug where it wouldn't read your Shep's face properly and I had to remake him. He's always been a big, ugly, pock-marked ginger. Recreating him went, uh ... poorly. Tie that in with the disappointing ending and I never felt like I actually finished my Shep's story.

I restarted again earlier this week and it picked up his face properly, then I finished with the EC. Feels like I'm playing Mass Effect 3 for the first time. While it hasn't brought me back to the squealing fanboy I once was, it's restored a lot of my faith. Thanks Bioware. You guys are OK.

The closure???/

SATISFIED !!

Although i just laughing for the 4th ending, it's looks like everyone who want the happy ending so badly get trolled.

Besides BioWare itself already said long ago that there will be no 'Happy ending'. Like add the party or celebration etc, or Shepard promotion.

'SO BE IT' XD

I LOVE IT BIOWARE !!!!

They can pat themselves on the back, this was a good save. If it wasn't for impending parenthood I would buy more BW games, but I'll gently* encourage my human offspring to be an RPG fan.

*stern punishment for even looking at COD.

You gave me two extra moments with my love interest Liara. I got to say good bye one last time, and I got to watch her put Shepard's name on the wall. I started tearing up during that last one. Thanks BioWare.

I played the destroy ending this evening and ended up crying (in front of my husband and children... who just looked at me like i'd lost the plot) i got to see my LI twice... the ending gave me tear filled closure and encouragement to continue on with further playthroughs.

Well Done Bioware you did us and yourselves proud.

Could not have said it better myself.

Am I satisfied with closure? Yes. Most of the plotholes (Mass Relays damage instead of being destroyed, how did our crew escape Earth and did they die on some planet?) are solved. The epilogue screens are pretty good though I wanted to see some about the ME 3 crew ( Liara and Javik writing that book or Liara on Thessia while Javik is at his comrades' graves preparing suicide, for example).

Some issues still remain but they are more minor to me now. Synthesis will always suck (Even with EDI hugging and feeling alive) IMO since forced evolution is a terrible crime on a few people but on the entire galaxy it's a tragedy. And the concept of the Star child is bad design because it's adding a new and important antagonist at the last 10 mins of the story.

One hell of a bullet dodge Bioware. Shame this whole ending thing happened like this but most of the people who raged at the vague and assumption filled endings should be at least somewhat satisfied.

Thank you. THANK YOU. You have reaffirmed my faith in your work as a company. I got the closure I wanted. BIG PROPS to all the employees who put in the work to give us this DLC. You gave me my game back. I am so happy!! I can finally stop spending all my time playing Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook. :D

I still think the Star Child is full of it. The Quarian and the Geth have proved that organics and synthetics can get along. Heck, the Geth never even technically rebelled against their creators (just defending themselves). BUT. With Star Kid being what it is, I can see how it would ignore that evidence. I guess. But what matters is that now I want to talk about and debate that point (and a couple of other questions), rather than throw my controller through the screen in frustration.

I especially appreciated the new surprise ending, which I discovered by accident when I shot the Star Kid in the head one last time. I was cackling through the whole thing, and found even THAT ending much more satisfying than any of the original ones.

I am sorry I doubted you could do it. I hereby eat my words. YOU HAVE ALL JUST MADE MY WEEK. And possibly month. Commander Shepard and I have a lot of catching up to do. <3

My only real complaint about the Extended Cut is that it shouldn't have been needed in the first place.

This is the ending(s) that should have been in the game when it shipped.

Gives me faith that Bioware still can pull off a fantastic finale.

While I agree with this, I will still have reservations about pre-ordering or day one purchases as long as they are with EA.

I am sure BioWare wanted to make this ending this way, but was forced to release it early. Yay for the new, in-depth endings, Boo that it even came to this.

I was among those very unhappy with the original ending.

However, I am extremely satisfied with the Extended Cut's expanded endings. The scenes added were amazing, and they really made me feel like the game was concluding, rather than suddenly hitting a brick wall. The issues that still remain with the ending, for me anyway, are minor enough to ignore with how well put together it is now.

Thank you Bioware, for working on this amazing piece of DLC and giving it to your fans for free. This will not be forgotten by a lot of people.

I imagine if the EC was actual ending when the game was first released in March, they would be far less people hating the ME3 :). Good job guys, you have redeemed yourself for now ;)

lol you're kidding right people are still complaining now
