The Mass Effect team said in the message after Stargazer, that they're looking forward to sharing more adventures in the Mass effect universe with us. I'm happy to say that I'm looking forward to experiencing them
btw, can I be a Krogan Engineer in ME4?

Honestly, this has made me want to play the game all over again...damn..didn't think it was possible seeing as I've made SO many games and couldn't finish them (they were boring and the endings just didn't motivate me enough..again, not that I was against them in the first place)

I suppose I'll miss the lore more than anything else, although I do also miss the rachni and the "happy ending"

I really want to point out the following as the shining bits of the package:
- The LI goodbye/evac...this was great - and very sad. This is the goodbye the love interests (those that apply) need. I've seen every one but Ashley's and they all are great (especially Tali - "I have a home.." - it was heartbreaking.)
- The explanations from the star child were also a needed addition so Shepard looked like he/she made a more informed choice.
- The memorial scene was also a smart sendoff for Shepard. Very moving.
The slides were good - nothing super fancy - but they did what needed to be done to cut down on the crazy negative speculation.
I'm not sure why Harbinger did not blow SR2 out of the sky...perhaps it was only firing at things actively charging the beam...it doesn't matter to me, as I would rather have a emotional goodbye with a LI than avoid this small plot hole.
This series has provided one hell of a ride. Thank you for the good times - the EC was the right choice...it should have been original content, but it was the right choice.

Two things that could of made it better was during the epilogue slides that pop up have the character thats on the slide talk about what happened like FNV. Second thing would be when people are cheering because the reapers are leaving or dead was hoping to hear the people cheer. Something like the humans yelling SHEPARD, the Asari saying something along the lines of Praise the Goddess he did it and the Krogans just letting out a full out battle yell as they shot their weapons in the air. But thats just me nitpicking and looking for problems were there are none.

All in all, hopefully all of us, both Bioware and fans alike, have learned something from this mess - myself included. I know that having my emotions jerked around by ME3's original ending turned me into a hate-spewing, pessimistic parasite on this forum. Not because I wanted to see your company suffer mind you, but because I was literally watching my favorite videogame series crumble before my very eyes and could do nothing about. It was heart-wrenching. So for what it is worth Bioware, I apologize. Not for speaking out against your game, or for criticizing your endings, but for the way I went about doing so. I definitely could have carried myself in a more appropriate and professional manner.
But that doesn't mean that I completely forgive you. ME3's ending hit me hard. Like, semi-truck head-on collision hard. Never again will I blindly pre-order your games as I have been doing, but neither will I stubbornly refuse to buy them out of unnecessary spite; I will simply wait for fan reviews and make an informed decision from there.
Sorry for ranting for a bit, but these past three months have been hard on all of us. More than anything I wanted to love Mass Effect again, and with the extended cut, I believe I can start again.
TLDR: Thanks Bioware for releasing the extended cut so I can play Mass Effect again, and sorry for the way I handled my non-stop *itching (even though it was justified).
Edit - yes, my post is sloppy and doesn't flow well. But it is 3:30 AM, and I had to redo the ending because I shot a certain character during ME3's finale (that was actually pretty funny now that I think about it

Also thank you to the guys at Bioware we never heard of that helped do this. In short thanks to these people: www.youtube.com
I really like how all the endings now are far more a matter of player taste. Like how I got to choose how Shepard started out, man or woman, survivor or hero, gay or straight .. we get to emotionally connect to how he ends his story in the universe. That's bittersweetly awesome (no, that's probably not a real sentence).

Wow you really been drinking the Bioware/EA coolaid haven't you. Before the EC I don't remember anyone saying of we just need more of a bad ending. that was just something PR made up to cover the stink

They are indeed a hell of a lot better than the garbage we received when the game released, But all three endings are still illogical and the forth one was the logical response, but its the one that yield the worse results.... Because of that the endings are still very lackluster.
No matter how much you polish a turd its still a turd. Guess expecting a ending not full of plotholes and space magic is having to high a standard
