Bioware, the EC is far from perfect, but it's honestly an immense improvement in every way possible. Thank you for using your time and money to give us this. Especially thank you for the destroy and reject endings.

I couldn't have said it better. Though I'm still confused by Stargazer

Thank you very, very much for that great compromise!
It made me come back to ME3, I even want to do a second playthrough and I hope, there will be more to what Stargazer implies.. You know, some Fans are never satisfied ;)

Yep, have to admit Bioware have atoned for the shocking original ending here. Well done.

No, far from it. The EC may be good, but that doesn't excuse what they did to the fans.

I totally disagree.  With the way some of the "fans" acted, they could have thrown up the middle finger.

Job well done, Bioware!

Kudos for improving the endings, I never thought you could do it. The originals got an F grade from me, now they'll get a solid C (average, certain things still nonsensical, slides rather vague- I would have preferred more detailed slides like DA:O and New Vegas). I'm not going to complain too much about them though. To temper the mood here- EA still pulls the strings here, and don't forget it. I feel better about Bioware than I did a week ago, for instance, but still I won't preorder. I'll wait for fan reviews first.

Not to pick a fight but, why trust fan reviews?  You won't know if you like something till *you* play it.  If I trusted Mass fan reviews I would never have bought ME3, and really I love it.  The EC just made it better!

And yeah, other then that I do kind of agree with you - but really the entire series has been plagued with inconsistencies and plot holes, I just hunk for most (Internet users that have complained here) they were easier to ignore before the ending.

Agree, the ending was not perfect but it was great anyway. And I got my closure.

Yeah, ME3 wasn't a disappointment, only the original endings were.. I' m still glad, I played it myself instead of rejecting it because of the reviews (well I preordered it, so not an actual choice). 30hrs nonstop emotional stress are absolutely worth it. I mean, that scene with Grunt? Mordin? Hell, Legion? Nobody will believe that, after reading the doomed reviews. So I will continue to play BioWare Games for myself first.. and if I dislike them, well, GameStop here in Germany has a three day return policy ;)

Only DAII was absolutely not my thing and it got far better reviews then ME3 at some point, so.. Men, I "wasted" money on far worse games, I'll still trust BioWare will do other great games..
In memory of Baldurs Gate and Jade Empire, which brought me here in the first place.

And call me pathetic, I do want ME4 *shrugs*

I tend to agree, thankfully it was the minority and a lot of other folks were constructive in praise and criticism.

Mind you, I'm also far from convinced that *most* fans hated the endings as they were, but that's neither here nor there.

The EC DLC was really what I expected it to be. A well done addition to an already great game. I do not know what stopped the company from adding all this stuff from the start but I don't really care now. Bioware delivered, and for that I thank them.

These should have been the endings we got with the game when it first came out, had it been, I could walk away from ME3 saying things like "it could have been better, I guess" but with all that has taken place I can't do that really. The endings have been changed from a failing "F" to a still failing "D" and while some of my opinion is definitely flavored by remembering what the endings were and while the new set of colored explosions don't simply leave one confused and in many cases upset, it is still not enough in my opinion.

And I can also admit really wanting to just be able to get back to my LI as part of my disapproval, but it is not all that makes up my issues with the endings still.

Exactly :).

And I'm pathetic too, and really I think it's been set up for ME4...

I haven't played to the end yet to see the Extended Cut cinematics (cheated by watching them on YouTube) but I'm very pleased by what I've seen.  The ending, which I viewed as incomplete but not alltogether bad, is now complete.  I was satisfied with what I saw and was surprised by the Reject ending (won't give away any details but it's definitely interesting).

I'll always choose Destroy but that's besides the point: BioWare, you guys have done good.  Forget the negative comments and know that you've done an excellent job wrapping an expansive trilogy.  I know it wasn't easy but I've enjoyed the Mass Effect franchise since purchasing the Collectors' Edition of ME2 when it was released and I can say that this series is the most enjoyable I've played in 16 years.  And this is coming from a former die-hard shooter enthusiast who thought he'd never play an RPG.  Well done gentlemen and ladies!

Thank you Bioware. The EC was exactly what I wanted to see, you have your fingers back on the pulse of your fans and you have put the heart back into ME3. Bravo!

The rejection ending was the middle finger they gave to us hardcore fans and the other cosmetic additions to the other endings were a joke

Well done BioWare, you had me in tears, the only thing I didn't like was that we still don't know what happened to Shepard! xD

Wait, The week Priestly goes on vacation and leaves Merizan in charge, and BSN becomes all positive?

Err, no, the week the EC comes out and everyone likes it BSN becomes positive. Dont think it has anything to do with the above.

Well done, I'm now ready to continue building his legend through DLC. LOL. Thanks for removing that plug at the end.

In all seriousness, I enjoyed the new endings quite a bit, thanks for the hard work in correcting the problems with the original ending.

Thank you Bioware as always. I was fine with the ending in the first place as I left a lot to my imagination and drew conclusions myself. However, this EC is even more satisfying.

My faith in BioWare was never lost, but it is confirmed yet again. Exceptional work, well done!

The problems are still there. I do not understand how everyone's so willing to accept the plotholes now. I think it was a good addition to the previous endings, don't get me wrong, but it still doesn't make anything sound right.

I don't want ANY games in Mass Effect universe to be BEFORE the events of this Trilogy. I dunno if it's "well done" or "well, thanks, at least something", but yes. Closure is there and I am grateful for that. It isn't the way I hope or the way many did, since we all had very high expectations, but at least I can say that I have finished.

One thing that really bugs me though is the Destruction. The Geth not being destroyed/repaired/mentioned is a smart move. But why show EDI as dead? to me is seems like an oversight. If they can repair the Normany, why is EDI on the casualty list? Especially with Tali on board? It simply makes 0 sense, and it's a very nasty little detail that is very disappointing, I wish they just didn't mention her, like with the Geth.

Because everyone wanted something different from the game? It's that simple and that complicated.

I personally wonder why no one questioned any of the previous plot holes in the series, but I remember the above and move on.

Personally I'd hate to be writing for a game as you're really writing a dozen or so stories.
