I just wanna say Thanks to Bioware as well! This new extended content was just amazing-- now it feels like the ending to MY story (plus the added dialogue for the Catalyst explained things a lot better). This was a seriously impressive 180 from Bioware, i mean the new ending is as great and satisfying as the original ending was disappointing, so massive kudos to the mass effect team for making this right. You didn't have to, but you did, so Thanks for listening to people's concerns. Total 180. You guys rule.
Well done, Bioware!

I agree, well done Bioware. I was one of the few it seems that liked the original ending but these new ones are just wow. I chose control originally and everything i pictured that ending meaning to me was shown in the extended ending so thank you very much for that, it was perfect i couldn't think of better conclusion to my shepards story. Bravo!

Well, it gave a lot more understanding, but gave no emotional closure.
Kelly was ignored again. And the Citadel was portrayed as half bombed out, so it looks like they just killed off a LI without showing the death, which was really poor.

Thank You Bioware.
I have bought all three Mass Effect games and thoroughly enjoyed them. I was disappointed in the ending for ME3, but this EC dlc gave me what I wanted; closure to a great story. I really appreciate the work you guys put into the whole series.
Thanks again.

I appreciate that they released it for free- paying the voice actors, programmers, writers, and directors again altogether isn't cheap. And Bioware did it gratis. Love or hate the ending or EC, Bioware should be commended for the work they did to try and appease at least part of the fanbase.

Nice work Bioware, I really liked the Extended Cut.
For most players that may not be much more that your duty to clean a mess, but for the dedicated fanbase it was very important that you ear us give the ending that you said we would get. But be aware, that dedicated fan base waits "more adventures on the Mass Effect universe" soon.

thanks bioware!
if only these were the endings that launched with the game...
i just envy all the people that will be playing me3 in its current form for the first time -- they would have gone through an immensely satisfying journey and seen an ending worthy of the game...
this is the start to regaining my trust -- i won't pre-order or buy launch day from you anymore but i will still play your games eventually after hearing good reviews...
EA -- okay its a start, i'll start buying from you again but only the very good games...

After playing the ec. I can only say one thing. Well done Bioware !!!!
You accomplished a very difficult task of keeping true to your own vision and making the fans
happy.
The ec provides the emotional closure I wanted and turned the sour down
ending of ME3 back to a satisfying conclusion.
The inclusion of the dialog wheel at the end was certainly great because I at least didn’t feel left out.
As for the problems people had and should still have. Learn for them and put
that experience in the next game (but I am sure you will).
After DA2 and the ending of ME3 I had lost much trust but this effort towards us and the game
restores much of that. Thank you for providing this DLC and for free.
Shepard story is done and I once again looking forward towards the future installments
of ME.

Um, this human is lost here. The only thing they did is fix some stupid plotholes in a stupid way (where are my squadmates? Oh, Joker picked them up landing next to Harbringer. Cool), but the endings were crappy and are still crappy, even if they showed me a picture of Krogans rebuilding Tuchanka, it doesn't mean squat.

Loved Mass Effect 3.
Hated the Ending.
Love the Extended Cut ending.
It's not *exactly* as I, personally, would have liked, but it's a very good effort.

Just completed EC, with all 4 endings. Thanks BW for great job! Personally i always prefered destroy ending and always disliked synthesis, but still all 4 endings written very good, although Shepard The God was a little creepy =) Anyway thanks again and i ll hope to see a new game (or trilogy, 4logy, 5logy or else) from ME team

I still have an angry lingering feeling, not because of EC but because EC was required. I just wish this was done originally, it would have been a perfect end. Now I feel like its an imperfect victory.

Yes thank you Bioware. I know that despite what others may think, you did not have to provide your fans with the extended cut, but you did, and free of charge on top of it. I greatly appreciate all of your efforts to provide us with this. Thank you.

Thank you for adding this to the game and for free, its a definate improvement over the orginial and to me an acceptable way to end Shepard's story, I just wish the EC was not required.

i have to say "NO"
i will admit the EC is better then the first ending
and it does fill a lot of blank holes in the story and in 3 out of 4 cases gives you closer
but it does leave room for 2 more things
1 the indoctrination theory
2 i'll call it the Anderson ending
very nice after party
but for me who LOVED the rest of the games
who came back from the dead and all the other stuff u been over in this amazing games
thats it? no ace in the hole? no afterlife? common the guy survived about everything
from killing a tresher maw on foot to killing a reaper destroying the collectors base
surviving the suicide mission surviving the collectors ambush kicking sovereign in the quad
surviving a fight with a reaper face to face
and even surviving being brain dead and for thos who read the comic and the novels
shep even survived being a well sort of digested by product and well basically a collection of mush and human remains so after all of that i do expect to see what happens to him next
and that he survives as clear as day
there is a reason people play video games and watch movies cuz they wanna see amazing stuff with incredible endings meaning good endings since this stuff never really happens in real life
if i wanted to play a bad ending game i would just go play Jericho
or some red faction Armageddon where the impotent people die in the end like right before u finish they die or you were just a "spirit" in them and they survive to stay in some dimensional cube to live forever inside a nothing
and the same was given by mass effect bad ending to a GREAT game
its not as bad as some endings but it is bad enough to let shep die after 4 years of bonding

Too bad this wasn't included in the game from the beginning, but yeah, thanks anyway. I still think the endings could've been better (hint: leave out the annoying kid, or choose a different avatar for the Catalyst), but I'm content with the added scenes and dialogue options.
And I'm really really glad the EMS 'bug' is fixed with this DLC... and that the 'buy DLC!' screen has been altered. That screen didn't do the team any justice. It's hard to believe this is a labour of love from you guys when there's an ad at the end of an epic trilogy.

Thanks Bioware, when I finished the game yesterday, I felt a feeling of accomplishment. Like what I had done in all the games meant something in the end. I also enjoyed having the Catalyst explain things more clearly, his existence actually makes sense now.
The epilogue was great because I saw what my major decisions did in the game - Krogan, Geth, Quarians, and the impact of my final decision out of the 3 choices I made in the end. I'm looking forward to finishing off the game (from the Cerberus base) with my second Shepard and then starting the game up again with a new third Shepard that I had yet to bring over from ME2.
Also, thank you for fixing the EMS thing, I only play single-player (never could get into MP) and seeing my Shepard breath at the end of the Destroy epilogue made me cheer.
Sure, I felt still a bit of sadness saying goodbye to my Shepard, but that's a good kind of sadness. Not the weird empty feeling I felt when I played through the first time. Thank you for making this new ending; for putting so much effort into it and for making it free for the fans.
You guys and gals did listen to us and I as a fan appreciate it and look forward to buying future DLC and games from you all.

Very chuffed with the extended cut; though part of me does wish they did all this in the first place.
