Not perfect by a long shot, or even brilliant by a long shot, but I humbly thank you for taking the time to listen and act upon feedback. It sets you apart from your peer companies.

I seem to have gone on a tangent, my bad. In any case, I greatly appreciate the BioWare staff for really stepping up and delivering some closure to a fantastic story. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey, and now I can fully appreciate the destination.
Can't wait for the DLC!!!

My only real complaint about the Extended Cut is that it shouldn't have been needed in the first place.
This is the ending(s) that should have been in the game when it shipped.
Gives me faith that Bioware still can pull off a fantastic finale.
Yeah, they did "apologise" for releasing it unfinished but this is more of a "yeah, you got this one of your record, do it again..."
Third strike after Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 ending fiasco and I think they are in big trouble.
But least this been decent yet if I would love a Fallout like ending.

They have never deserved all your rage or all the cruel words so many of you have thrown at them.
I can't start to tell you all how much it pains me that so many of you complained like this.
I understand people say they are dedicated fans. But there is nothing constructive about the way the message has been delivered to BioWare. And that is what makes me so sad about it all....

In other news, the multiplayer changes were also awesome. And as a whole, multiplayer has been much, much better than I would have ever thought. So thanks to the MP team as well!

You gave me two extra moments with my love interest Liara. I got to say good bye one last time, and I got to watch her put Shepard's name on the wall. I started tearing up during that last one. Thanks BioWare.
That was a VERY nice touch way to listen to your fans guys!! <3

So yes, I want to thank BW, I think they did a good job.
There are somethings that are not totally right.... the evacuation of squadmates in the final assault seems a bit "forced" in my opinion, also I consider that the crashing on the planet is a bit out of place now and also the Stargazer (specially with synthesys).
But anyway, I think that it has improved the original endings (with which concept I never had any problem) and is quite close to what I always expected.... Be the way, nice surprise with reject ending.
Thanks for this great trilogy, I'll keep an eye on your next game.
EDIT: Now I see.... depending on EMS some situations change....

However, before i continue. Here's what i think the EC still failed to give us answers on.
How
the hell did Anderson get to the control panel on the citadel before
shepard? Especially, when Anderson said he followed Shepard. I know that
they believe they ended in different rooms, but there is still nothing
to indicate how Anderson could have gotten to the platform before
Shepard. Plus, where the hell was the Illusive man hiding all the time
on the Citadel? Can he suddenly teleport around now?
My
solution to this problem: Why not just have Shepard appear in that hell
hole, then have Anderson explode into the scene right behind Shepard as
he moves. Then they can go to the control panel together and it
wouldn't affect the outcome of the story one bit. Why must Anderson
actually be at the control panel first?
Why did the Reaper AI choose the form of a human child that Shepard saw die?
No solution there, but i would like to know why it chose that form.
Plus, i am still dissapointed that i could change the outcome.
How
come the destruction of the mass relays didn't wipe out Earth? I'm
pretty sure that the range of the destruction of the Sol mass relay can
wipe out that system. I can understand that the Citadel didn't explode
like a mass relay, because the energy to wipen out anything nearby from
it being destroyed was diverted into the energy from your choice and
into the nearby mass relay.
Would like an explanation.
And now for new questions that arriven from the EC.
How
did all the other species get back to their homeworld so fast? I do
find it hard to believe that they managed to build the mass relays quick
enough to get back to where they wanted to. Or that they managed to
find to discover FTL travel without going along the reaper tech way.
Would
like an explanation, because i think that it should take at least a
year to build atleast one relay, if they get the schematics.
And now for some things that i think the EC could have done better or just didn't make sense.
Why
didn't Harbinger just shoot the Normandy when it tried to pick you up?
They really didn't think that through, because i doubt Harbinger could
have been unable to shoot down the Normandy and defend the beam at the
same time.
Where's the epilogue for the Geth? I don't see it anywhere! I killed them yes, but that's not the point.
I
would have liked to see animations of the art stills that ran through
the ending that was recorded by Hackett. Seeing 2D stills did little for
me, seeing the Asari jump for joy on Thessia was much more rewarding.
The 2D stills diluted the quality of the ending.
Would
have liked to have seen or hear your squad mates actually talking and
having a few scenes of their own in Hacketts victory speech.
I
haven't put in have a different ending, like one where the mass relays
are still intact because i know they won't do it. So no point shouting
for it.
However, i shot the star kid
on my first EC attempt and i didn't know that he could power down the
crucible and continue the cycle! XD. However, could he just force you
not to able to make a choice of his own, but only the choice of the
reaper AI. Which is synthesis? Major plot flaw there in my eyes.
That's
all i can think of. I can say that the studio did a satisfactory job of
answering most of our questions, but they created even bigger ones.
Also,
this patch felt like it was done by only a small portion of the whole
ME team. Because, i look at the content and i personally believe that if
they actually ahd the whole studio working on the EC, then they should
not have had any of the 2D stills during Hackett's victory speech. There
should have been 3D animations of each species, even if only for 10
seconds each that would be better than the 2D stills.
The ending
was satisfactory, but i still think that the ending is no where near the
standards of the rest of the game. The ending may not exactly 'ruin'
the game as which i felt it did before the EC, but not it just feels
bland, boring and i never really felt emotional enough to really care
about my victory - I think it's mainly because the 2D stills seemed to
have killed it. It felt like early stage artwork being put into a
finished game.
Also, i don't see how the ME team is actually
going to make any DLC after the events of ME3, because it seems that it
would require you to choose the destroy option on the catalyst. Unless,
they allow you to play as a different character to Shepard.
Personally,
i would prefer the DLC to expand on your contact with the Rachni and
the Asari. In addition to adding missions and a plot to the quarian/geth
war, because the only part of the game that i feel holds up to the ME3
standards are the missions on Tuchunka. Jack's mission is good enough as
well, so is Jacobs.
I also wander if they will do anything related to Omega?
Also, i'm glad that they changed the end credit message. The one where
they originally encouraged us to buy more DLC as they came out.
So yes, I think Bioware have done a reasonably good job on answering most of our questions that caused so much aggressive amongst the community and that's probably why i don't eel that same rage anymore, because it's been quelled. But it has left me emotionally detached from the endings.
