Since the Extended Ending DLC has amounted to a 2 GB piece of plywood to cover the plotholes, I think the only way to save Mass Effect as fans is to turn to all those dedicated fan artists and programmers and crowdsource a comic showing how we wanted it to end (or one of the options, anyway). I suggest using Gmod.
