Whenever I start up ME2 everything runs smoothly until the "press any key to continue" (Or whatnot), it then fades to black, as it should, and bam, crash. The error message is the standard "This program has stopped working" so I am left without a clue.
Thing is that I thought this only occured on one of my computers, but this happens on both of them, and the latter one is a brand spanking new gaming laptop, both meet the technical requirements BTW, I have previously been able to run the game on my first computer. They are both Windows 7.

I have tried running it firstly from Origin, then installing it directly on my hard-drive and then, when left wihout any options I downloaded a copy, just for refference and if my disc was broken or there was something wrong with my Origin account, but alas, the same result.

As you can imagine this is quite frustrating, I have tried almost all of the solutions posted on the web, but none seem to adress my case directly, so I have been forced to seek the solution blindly.

I have Mass Effect 3 installed on both computers, if the PhysX is still an issue...

Thanks for any help on this issue, I want to have my Shepherd ready for then the Directors Cut is released.:)

Have you tried removing PhysX and installing it from the ME2 game disk? I've seen this as a common problem, but haven't encountered it myself.

Could you post your system specs and drivers anyway?

That should not be an issue, the game has worked before.
I will try the PhysX thing, thanks!

Proces: Intel core i7-3610QM

Standard Memory 8GB DDR3
Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M.

Something like that, I have no clue what is relevant or not.
