The S.F. Bay area is a desert :'-(

But my dad was a Boston native with such a strong accent I've had people ask me if *I'm* from Bahstin...

Rolo, is it really just you and me as far as CCers go on the West Coast?  I'm in Oregon and I was really hoping to start a West Coast versus East Coast modder feud.... I even had the "gang signs" down- although my pinkies kept cramping on the "W"

:(

OTR, I'm near Rolo in the SF Bay Area, although I'll be in Oregon for a week in July, East Clackamas to be more precise. We'll see if any Blue Berries are ready at that time.

Rolo and I need to meet up one of these days.

One of these days I'll make some models. Maybe a couple large 8x8 groups for a tileset. Been getting a hankering after talking with Ben Harrison, and being frustrated with building with tiles.

That said, I haven't proven myself with Arnheim yet. Its just not ... there. Not yet.

:P

Ummm  ever heard of Pstemarie?
bring the west coast on baby! East coast can take em!

I feel you OTR, this was *exactly* my line of thinking, I wanted to see if we could flip the CC makers monthly submissions maybe one month to have a west coast vs east coast CC contest one time and the vote could be decided by poll? and instead of a bunch of individuals doing a bunch of stuff, the entire *team* would collaborate on a decided *content* maybe also decided by a poll...but wasnt going to throw it out there until I saw some numbers...

but I will take my teamates!! although OTR with your out of box thinking I will admit its a little:unsure: daunting now...i figured you lived somewhere like ohhh..i don't know .the Matrix perhaps?or somthing like that .

<not giving...>

Ahhh. But which *side* of Michigan? East or West?

Hmmm... This could be fun, but not replacing the monthly.
It would have to be a special, year-end face off. Perhaps each side picks one month's challenge that does *not* yet have a demo (all of them but Jan :-/ ) and builds a demo mod. Then the fans vote on 3 aspects of play - "Oh Neat", "Wow" & "What Fun!".

If I see enough interest, I'll put it up on the CCC master thread.

Meanwhile, I now return control of this thread to the East

Maybe East Coast vs West Coast vs No Coast? et. al. :D

It could be like the Sharks vs the Jets with the addition of the Vulgar Elmos *snickers* oh, pardon me, I'm having a humor attack (not always good). *strikes a Sanford&Son pose and recites "I'm coming ta join ya" staggering from room*

<confiding in his closest...>

Well, sure. Provided all the Stars showed up. Or in the case of the East Coast Boys, all the Stahs ;-)

I think the West Coast definitely has a head start on stars.
Now, if we could only lure the Mistress back...
But then, she'd come down Easterly. And she has a whip. A big one. <long one>
A big and long... hey! Pipe down, Bother <*raven chuckle*>
*thinks about how much chocolate it would take to lure TSL back. sighs*

If your radio stations start with a K, it is West Coast. And W for the East of the Mississippi, I believe. This should help determine sides.

And I remain Techless.....

They can stack the deck any way they wish. We'll just select different cards.

@ PstMarie: I've passed through the East... Also the Far East, The Far West The Far South, North and Downunder... don't make me an Aussie ;-) With all those demonic heads, I'm really feeling a Hollywood vibe from Six, though I admit his wildwoods remind me a bit of the Appalacian Trail.

@ PJ: Right! Which side of *England* does Six come down on? Hah! *crosses fingers*

@Henesua: Why, it just so happens I have a card or two up my sleeve ;-) <just don't get them mixed up with the deck of many...>
Shhh! Quiet, bird. No one's talking to you. <snails. this definitely calls for a snail down your shirt>
Uh, now, let's not be hasty. <and in your brandy>
Oh, that's *low*... <but tasty ;->

@ Elhanon the Ancient One: But what do they start with in Britain. Or Germany, for that matter... There's a few dwarves in Germany I'm thinking about... <better bring gold then. or rainbow snails. do dwarves like snails, boss?>
I'm sure the more discerning ones do, Bother. <heh>

Well old friend, it seems that all countries were given letters back in 1912, and America received W, A, K, and N. One of you more ingenius types can decide on how to designate the remaining alphabetic sets.

Personally, am more into my veggies: peas and hominy for all.... *bazinga*
