or has an MMO title somewhere along the sideways too many games exist already that
have weak story with infinity players doing it in one big online world
and its just not the same
and i agree only a sequel will do good cuz they make novels and comics to fill the in between or what happened long ago on specific people making a "prequel game wont give you the conditionality you got when you played from ME1-3 the impact your decisions made on the galaxy
and you wont be able to get to your LI from the other ME i know alot wanna see shep getting back to his loved ones
if bio-ware really reads a lot in the forums and such they should know by now making a whole new ME story wont be as successful as the rest and probably wont end so good for them
since the ME for the PC had low rate of sales with the little shindig EA pulled with the virtual game release with the attempt to make origin get more costumers so it can fight steam
but money hording never works that's why pc sales didn't go so well
so making a "whole new" mass effect will be just as bad
and ofc after destroying a collector's base and surviving the "suicide" mission kicking sovereign in the quad and harbinger as well
and after being officially a collection of goo in tubes and some human remains and being officially
Brain Dead i do expect him to survive that little explosion common that little firework can take out shep? naaaa

If you talked to the Catalyst in the EC then you should have your answer.Tazzmission wrote...

Well, with the new leak; There is going to be a DLC about the Reaper's creators: the Leviathans
now this will be interesting because would that mean they created the catalyst?
Sorry to say this, but the Leviathan isn't Harbinger based on those listings.Sweawm wrote...
Also apparently in the new DLC leak (Highly credible: Dialog taken from the Extended Cut's Files itself), they reveal Harbinger's true name, just like Sovereign; who was Nazara.
Whether you like it or not a lot of people like to play MMOs and its a good way to expand the user/fan base. Btw if a ME MMO would be made then we would at least be waiting 3-5 years.BrysonC wrote...
How about we just skip the MMO route altogether? All MMOs are bound to just copy World of Warcraft nowadays anyway, if The Old Republic and the new Elder Scrolls MMO are any indication. What's the point?

I know that Leviathen is a new entity itself, but Harbinger is involved in the DLC. In the leaked script, someone asks Harbinger's true name; perhaps Levithean to Shepard or the other way around.

So far from the script is just the Leviathen and Batarians while those war assets would be used against the Harbinger and rest of the Reapers. There is barely anything for anyone to make speculations or assumptions.Sweawm wrote...

The EC makes it easier to pick up the story, I think. In each (good) ending the Citadel and Mass Relays are repaired.
Every potential problem has a fairly workable solution for people who wish to import saves into ME4.
Reapers are around in the Blue and Green endings, but not the red. Solution: Just have someone comment that once they'd done their job repairing/sharing knowledge they left the galaxy forever.
People are Green in the Green ending: Make this a temporary effect, or something, while the change was still fresh in people's bodies.
Geth/Quarians: Probably the toughest problem. Give one/both species something to do that keeps them out of the story. Either something positive (achieved sentience in higher bodies, or something) or bad (peace didn't hold).
Otherwise, the alive/death status of individuals can easily be kept out of future games, if set a suitable amount of time in the future, once Shepard has become the legendary figure of the epilogue.

I prefer Mass Effect the way it is, as well spin-offs. I'm NOT INTERESTED in MMO's or RTS type games. Everything else is welcome. I prefer Mass Effect the way it is. I suck at those and don't want it.
I think to in any future Mass Effect games, I prefer sequels honestly. The main character should be ANY SPECIES, ANY GENDER you can create. That what I think.

That said most prequels would feel to trite and meaningless in comparison to the Trilogy. Personally just stories in the ME universe that don't touch much of the Reapers or the Trilogy's conflict with the Reapers or Cerberus would be cool.
Personally I am looking forward to Leviathan DLC. That and a 'Retake Omega' DLC feels like it is in the cards and that would be something I'd be excited to play, being the only avenue of conflict that felt was left out of the main game. After all, that set up with Aria make me and I think I can safely say most ME players that retaking Omega from Cerberus was going to happen.
Aside from DLC and opinions on the nature of prequels and sequels, I would love to see a game that focuses on Garrus and his Archangel days on Omega or something like being a merc out for crimelords on Omega or Illium. Maybe even a game about being an Alliance Corsair and all those black ops sort of stuff.
That is just my 2 cents though

Also want to go back to Omega as a fully formed hub, work with Aria to get it back, and perhaps be joined by a Batarian squaddie.
As for future games, I'm not a big fan of MMOs but I'd love a single player RPG where you can choose your character's species, have your own spaceship, etc. Also would love an RTS, as long as they don't skip on the civs.

Is there any point buying a SP dlc when the result will be the same.

I think this is the main point of contention for me in regards to any dlc, (except romance dlc), if any new characters or big changes occur with the dlc eg. Taking back Omega for Aria, or the Leviathian Reaper, and they have no actual effect on the ending, why would i get it, what would be the point, it's going to end up exactly the same any way.
