I agree OP, here come the haters though, you know those people who had decided they would hate it before it even released.
I hated it a few hours ago.. so I get it.

I am happy with ME3 now, and am looking forward to starting a new Shepard, back in ME1! Gonna be not so bad a summer after all

I'm with you, OP. I always knew that my Shepard would choose the Destroy ending, and die heroically to save the lives of those he loved. And the EC Destroy ending gave me exactly what I wanted. A nice, heroic death.

"But it still sucked!" some people might say. Sorry. I don't have your opinions. I think I was just too tired of being miserable about it. I'm just happy I can play the games again without feeling like I wasted so much time and money. Those games have been collecting dust since the first week ME3 was released. ( Also they had Garrus finally say I love you to femshep. It's sappy but I am a total sucker for that stuff. Even if that whole scene with the Normandy was pretty silly. )

The ending I got satisfied me way more (Destroy) than the old version, I think it was all pretty good and a lot less plotholes (if any). My only complaint is that ending part with Buzz Aldrin murmering, does no one else think we could really do without that? I was a bit taken aback that it was still in. Also I kind of wished a bit more clarification on the alive part if you get it. Other than these minor flaws, I really liked it, way better than the old endings :-) The devil is in the details and they obviously clarified a lot of the choices and consequences.
If you do the Reject ending, the two people post credits are changed to a boy and a woman of unknown race (Due to it being the next cycle as all the races we know we're harvested)

I liked it, no reunion, but, still good. Thanks Bioware.
A reunion is implied at least, providing Shep survives Destroy. And Hackett makes no real reference to Shepard dying, so I'd say a reunion did happen, just offscreen.

They still ignored obvious problems. Many complaints of choices not mattering at all could have been addressed through cinematics during the ending (by throwing in little clips of your specific war assets in action, the fate of your allies on the ground). It would still have been the laziest way to do things but it would have been something. If it had effected your own mission of there had been some interactive element to it (god forbid), well, that's what we were all originally looking for in ME3.
The poor choices that directed the entire ME3 story could not have been changed in the EC and they get capped off pretty much as well as they could have. But that doesn't change the fact that the whole story was bad.
