 Bioware, I congratulate you on your Extended Cut. For the most part, it was well written, and had much of the information for which I was looking.

However, I wanted to see Shepard live. The promise made to the Liara romance option was in response to her statement: "I have to know you will come back...."

I promised to come back. Always. The Synthesis option leaves the main character dead, and the next best option (Destroy) again, leaves only a single breath. Why?

I wanted Shepard to live, and half-expected to see post-scenes of Shep and the LI (Ash/Jack/Tali/Miranda/Liara) sitting comfortable in a few chairs with kids around.

Will there be books? Further DLC? I would pay for a DLC that has Shep living a happy ever after ending.

Good effort Bioware, but this ending, just didn't bring the closure a live Shepard would have.
