So in the EC the catalyst mentions how the synthetics will finally understand organics. well, wouldnt the reapers already understand organics since they are combined? also, the catalyst mentions it was tried before, yeah every single husk is a proven failure of the combination.
so now that all that extra info was included synthesis makes less sense to me now.
that being said, i appreciate the answers of joker leaving with the crew and what not included in the dlc.

You say this like husks are an intentional, sentient fusion of man and machine, as opposed to nonsentinent cybernetic killamajigs. I'm hunching that, in general, it's the second option.
