There seems to be a problem that can cause people to lose all of their saved data from single player. Here's what I know about it & how I discovered it:
When I downloaded the Extended Cut today, I obviously wanted to jump right in and start it, but when I went to load my save file, I found that they were all missing, and were instead replaced with seemingly random save files from another person's playthrough. I believe this may be due to my friend logging into his Origin account on my computer, as I'm pretty sure the saves belong to him. My guess is the cloud syncing dumped all of his save files on my computer (though I'm not sure why it would have erased my save files...). I contacted Origin's live help, and they walked me through some steps to attempt to get the files back, but ultimately, they were unrecoverable.
Just a heads up. This is a pretty big oversight and should be fixed as soon as possible so other people aren't affected...
Lost all of my save files.

check the My Document's folder. All your ME saves are kept in there. There is a possibility that Origin just overlooked it.

That is the first place I looked, unfortunately, the only files there were that of my friend T_T.

Oh...sorry to hear that. Sometimes in freak cases, deleted documents are archived to your temporary files folders (you'll need to activate view hidden folders options). These are deleted upon system restart, but who knows?

Wow, so the cloud storage recovered your friends save's but didn't recover your when you tried logging back in? Kinda makes the cloud system a bit pointless if it isnt backing up your saves properly.
