Though I didn't notice any changes untill hammer made it's charge down the hill to the beam that connect to the citadel. But when I saw the charge and how my LI Tali and garrus get wounded. And how shepard then called Joker for a evac and then had this scene with Tali when he dropped her of on the ship I thought to myself.... This is great!
And it is.... But. Those few minutes for me is the height of EC. Don't get me wrong the dialouge options with the Catalyst is great aswell since it gives you that explanation we lacked in the vanilla ending. But after this I would say the scenes are mediocre at best.  Now I might sound a bit negative buyt I think the epilouge was very underwhelming. I think they missed the whole point in that part and I might be wrong when I say that a lot of people wanted more closure with your crew and LI not just the scene we got where your LI is about to put up your name on the memorial. Then the camera pans of and we get to see the ship leaving which then cuts in to the scene you get with highest ems where shepard takes a breath in the rubble of the Citadel/London. People are probably gonna hate at me for saying it but I just dont see why BioWare couldn´t give us that little reunion. Just show us a scene where they ftl back to the ruined Citadel/London and search for poor little shepard in the rubble and then give us a part where they all meet him in the hospital bed or something. Thats just my thoughts atleast.

I'm not sure what to make of EC it has good parts for me and not so much bad parts as dissapointing.

I'm with you on the whole reunion thing. And I'm done with Bioware this isn't what the retake movement wanted. We wanted the multiple different endings that we were promised. We wanted the entire so called ending to be completely redone excluding the reaper AI child. Instead what we got was more of the same just expounding on it. Just as many of us expected they tried to polish a turd but it's still a freaking turd.

IMO I think the EC is a little disappointing for me in that I had to wait to get these endings which amounted to little more than a matter of minutes. However, had these been the endings when the game was first released then I think I would have thought they were very good.

I think the wait for something so simple makes the EC feel a little underwhelming, even though - for me - it was all the more I wanted from the start.
