I'd like to thank those BioWare employees who...

... had no say whatsoever in this repeated fiasco and were only doing their jobs as ordered.

BioWare employs many people; as in any business, very few of them get to call any shot at all - let alone most of them. If you're doing your nine to five plus crunch time just so you can pay the bills and feed your family, you can't afford to stand up and cry Iraq like many people on here on the BSN have done. It's difficult enough to find a job as it is in this economy.

I don't want to forget about the good times I had in Mass Effect 3, nor about the people who worked dilligently to make that happen. When I say I have a beef with BioWare, I don't mean the worker bees. It's not your fault that it is the industry's latest fashion to let drooling, slack-jawed idiots run the show (for further reading on this subject, see the official Diablo III forums).

In spite of the enormous sh*tstorm the endings kicked up, in spite of all the mistakes that still survive even after the Extended Cut, I'd like to thank those employees who, to many people, are nothing more than a 8pt line of text on a credits screen. I'm positive that you all went the extra mile, and there's still plenty to enjoy in Mass Effect 3 so as long as you remember to stop playing after the Cronos Station.

To those people who are directly responsible for ruining what could have been one of the premier SciFi series of our generation: go f*ck yourselves. You are to blame for ruining not only a great game, but a great reputation as well. I can only hope that you will some day get what you deserve - a two weeks notice.

Bumping this so the silent staff can read it. I know none of them can afford to respond to this in any manner, but I'd like them to know that they're not the ones who'll get barbequed for this.

The sad thing is that if layoffs happen, they'll be the ones to lose their jobs.. not certain people...

Exactly. It's never the people who are really to blame.

Not for me; for all those employees who deserve a "thank you" after all the bile that has been spewed in their general direction. The bile is good, but its aim was a little off.

Absolutely agree. There were dozens of men and women who worked their arse off to create an amazing experience. It's not fair in anyway to them.

Sadly, after having just played the EC, I'm going to have to agree with the OP.

not to sound like a zealot or anything, but whoever is responsible for this mess: you are real villains.

An extremely classless post, and if they could I'm sure any member of the team would tell you so themselves. No one ruined the series on purpose, and if you believe otherwise I don't know why to tell you. Was the aim a little off? A lot of people say yes, a lot say no. But since you decided to throw in childish insults, I'm going to call this pointless post what it is, a QQ and insult post thinly disguised as a thank you.

This is how I've felt since the beginning. It's a shame that the people at the top have behaved so shamefully as to make me turn my back on the entire company.

I completely agree with everything but one part; the people directly responsible don't even deserve a two-weeks notice. They deserve to be literally thrown out of the building and having that be their notification.

"you can't just throw me out on the street! what's going to happen to me and my kids!?"

"don't know. guess it'll be.. speculations for everyone."

I'm sure that the people who ruined the game felt like they were doing the world a favor. Just like you think you're doing now.

The only classless and childish thing in here is your attempt to derail a thread thanking people who rarely receive any mention at all.

Now kindly get the f*ck away from me.

Patrick Weekes certainly earned specific mention from me; I would go back to BioWare if the guys responsible for ruining the entire trilogy left for whatever reason simply because I don't blame the guys like Weekes. Hudson and Walters are who I blame, everyone else I merely feel sorry for since they have to deal with their "artistic integrity" crap. And if the people like Weekes leaves, I hope he and the others go to a quality company so I can follow their work (so long as it isn't Walters or Hudson).
