Okay. So I played the Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut DLC.
............
I have some good things to say about it...and some complaints as well.
The first thing (though it's neither a complaint or a compliment) was the battle before beam. When I was in the middle I battling Brutes, Marauders, Banshees (I ESPECIALLY hate them), and Cannibals (you can barely count them), I have the Reaper that's guarding the beam shooting it's lasers at me. I'm not saying that's bad (though, I'm glad I already did my insanity run-through), it just makes life more interesting.
The second (which I liked) was when Shep and her squad are rushing the beam. I'm glad they finally explained how Garrus and Kaidan (my squad of choice) made it back onto the Normandy. I especially like the sweet little scene when Shep is loading Kaidan on the Normandy. I had tears in my eyes (seriously) from the sheer sweetness of it. It broke my heart when Kaidan was all, like, "I can't lose you again." So, thumbs up on that.
Third (and this one still kinda irritates me). How is the world did Anderson arrive onto the Citadel unhurt and in a different place than Shep? There was only one way to the control panel. Why didn't he stop and wait for her? And why is it that after Shep shoots Anderson in his left side, she suddenly has a large, gaping bleeding hole in her left side??
Fourth (positive). I like how I got to question the Catalyst more. I got to understand more. So, bravo....Though I still hate that stupid AI star child.
Fifth (neither positive nor negative. Just kinda stunning). That Easter Egg. So, the star child was all, "The paths are now open. You may now choose." So I was all, "I'd rather just shoot you." 'Bang, Bang, Bang!' Then all of a sudden he was all, "And so the cycle will continue!" My mouth dropped open and I slapped my hands against my cheeks. I didn't think that anything would actually happen!!! :o
Sixth (positive). I liked how they added on to the cutscene at the end. I liked knowing that my crew wasn't stranded on a godforsaken planet for very long.
Seventh (kinda confused...kinda negative). Kaidan only seemed a little sad that my Shep was M.I.A. Not quite "I can't lose you again."
Eighth (confused and kinda negative). Red ending. So, Shep takes a breath. That is the worse cliffhanger! I want to know if someone found her and if she's alive and waiting for Kaidan and the rest of the Normandy crew to come back! I need to know!!!
