As am I, the original endings were (IMO) terrible and not befiting the rest of the franchise. The extended cut really feels like a proper send off. It's not my first choice, but I'm satisfied and definitely feel some sense of closure to it. At least I'm willing to actually play ME again, instead of sneering at ME3's previous conclusion and playing something else instead.

Bravo Bioware for trying your best to make your fans happy while sticking to your own choices. It's the effort & thought that counts the most.

Hehe, great moment in the game.

The old rendition of the endings were very plain, like a sandbox, and now with the release of this DLC it makes me feel like it's good 'ol Bioware making my Mass Effect games and not the looming force that is EA.

Anyway the fixed conversation with the Star Child felt like a stab at replicating the intensity of the Vigil conversation and they did it really well.

i must disagree on that part
4 endings to one game
not one of them is the man-god shepard surviving it if i didnt play 1-3 all the way
i may have agreed but passed too much to take the "die for the greater good " kinda crap
and you cannot make a bad ending a good one by filling up some holes
u can give some greater sense of whats going on after or in between
but doesn't make it good lols it just made it
as follow - a more detailed bad ending

Well, it's still not perfect (or even great), but y'all did what you could to please your fans, it's better than before, and what I wanted in the wake of the original ending.

Thank you, Bioware.

It pains me to hear how people are talking about BioWare. I so wish the people in there knows there are fans who don't think they screwed up; fans that don't believe BioWare is laughing of them; fans who don't think BioWare tried to trick more money out of their fans. I am one of the fans that was satisfied with the ending to Mass Effect 3 from the beginning; a man who does not believe they simple did okay. There is a point where it is no longer constructive criticism.
BioWare fully followed up on their promise I think. And what met them was mockery, foul language, sarcasm and hostility. Just like I do when I say these things.
If Mass Effect is just a mediocre shooting game to you, you owe BioWare nothing.
But if you truly love Mass Effect, you owe BioWare better than what so many have given them these past few months.
They deserve praise from more than just professional gaming critics (in all aspects).
I pains me so much...

Better...but the endings were only part of the problem, so the whole experience is still sucky for me.

The begining still sucks.
Some scenes still sucks.
Kai Leng still sucks.
TIMs death still sucks.
Etc...

Props to Bioware for keeping their promise and delivering better endings tough.

The sad truth is that no matter what they will do to improve the game, haters will still hate. It seems people are still not happy with the endings, the all known Tali unmasking issue and millions of other little details.
