I hope this is a joke.  This post is the definition of entitled.  From reading the first sentence, I would say you are roughly 7-8 years old.  Good god people, we just accomplished something that's more or less unheard of in gaming by getting the endings of a AAA title changed FOR FREE because of fan outcry, and when they do that for us, and you come back with something like the post I just quoted, you completely undermine the legitimate complaints voiced by real fans of the games.

Pfft.. You think they changed it for us ? They changed it because no one was buying ME3, word of mouth was that the game was terrible. 

Ya is nice to get free content. But don't be naive, they aren't doing that for me and you. They did it because they could not sell more boxes without doing it.

we need a lot of characters DLC. Heck even if Thane didn't survive, I like to do an awesome mission with him.instead of sitting in the hospital. Bioware be nice if Shepard could have brought him up to shoot Bottles with Garrus and I.............

I am okay with Thane dying due to his illness or due to plot decisions, but there wasn't any of the latter involved. It was scripted must-happen with no opportunity to be involved. As cool as the assassin vs. assassin kung-fu slapdown was to watch, I seriously doubt Shepard and friends would just be chilling and watching it happen. In a game about squad-based tactics and tactical coordination taking down opponents, it was pretty empty to see such a lack of coordinated effort to swarm Kai Leng or at least showing Shepard and company attempting to throw down. I mean, stasis/singularity + snipe + overload tech enhancements/cybernetics while Thane is in melee? Just saying.

It felt more like a silly set-up to try and portray the prowess and 'scariness' of Kai Leng. If he can beat down one of the best assassins in the galaxy, he must be a potent villain, right? Meh. Mordin's end was so much more moving and fitting, imo, as it focused on him and his character depth and desires and motivations and your choices throughout the games. Moreover, even Patrick Weekes admitted on his livejournal that the lack of Thane story was a "drawback of a large writing team."

Uh, no, you d***wads. I haven't seen a single person say something like that, which is saying a lot taking into account the quality of posts on this site. In the same way that someone playing as MShep doesn't ruin your FShep experience, why would a Thane surviving OPTION ruin your game. If you liked his fight (Because RUNNING INTO A SWORD is so badass and not stupid in the least, right?) there should be an option to keep that. This is an RPG after all, stop acting like you should be able to tell everyone what they should experience in their game.

Oh, but I see how it is. Since Thane is a Fshep straight option, it doesn't matter because female gamers don't matter. Only lesbian options for Fshep with steamy shower scenes, because that's all she is to you. A pair of t**s.

So we could go with..."...Her IQ is lower than her breasts." What? They were pretty low in the game.

The deaths of both Mordin and Legion brought tears to my eyes (and down my face) but 1) they were not LIs and 2) they were avoidable because there was a CHOICE.

Of all the romanceable characters the only two assassination via bad writing were Jacob and Thane, both male characters. And as bad as Jacob's writing was, at least he was alive. Still a stab in the gut, but breathing.

I don't think it is too much to ask for an OPTIONAL cure/life extension for Thane. Not for me anyways, not for MY FemShep in MY game.

Nope I'd like Thane to live too in my DudeSheps story. So an option to let him be saved and live would be great, also a simple fix to Romanced Jacob is all that's needed. There was no touchy feely crap between him and Bryynn so just make if he was romanced he don't hook up with her simple easy and just needs reworking of dialogue right?
