Now that they practically solidified that EDI and the Geth die I can't bring myself to choose destroy anymore. 

On a side note the EC just emphasises how dumb the original endings were. If they did it this way from the start I can't see how there would have been as huge of a backlash. 

Anyway, what ending do you guys stick with now?

Destroy ending.

I don't buy into that crap of "The Geth and EDI will die too". It's all the word of an enemy, the controller of the Reapers trying to worm it's way out of it's own defeat and hard sell the Reaper preferred choices of the illusion of control and Saren's answer of Synthesis.  No conclusive evidence was ever given of the termination of EDI or the Geth; no bodies, no statements from survivors, nothing save for the treacherous words of the enemy.

My course it's set, no blasted AI, especially the creator of the great enemy, will sway me from my goal. I stand firm against the enemies of Man, and all other worthy life. The Reapers are beyond redemption and as such must be destroyed.

I have to go with 1st Destroy or maybe Synthesis. No one can be trusted with such power not myself and not even Shepard. Control is a disaster waiting to happen.

I think that's what I will keep in mind to, I did that previously with the original destroy ending and chose to believe the kid was full of crap. Guess I'll keep doing that.

Although I have to say, Synthesis made a convincing case. Talking about how both organics and synthetics could benefit from each other, through ascension and understanding respectively. Almost... Almost.

Destroy by far. Control is friggin' creepy with SHEPARD I AM YOUR GOD, Synthesis is too SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE, and the other is obviously the writers giving us the finger for not liking their A/B/C endings.

When I walked into the room, my heart was set on destroying the lot of them; but what can I say, that stupid AI talked me into synthesis. I didn't wanna EDI or the Geth to die after all I went through to save them. I felt the game had been heading toward that conclusion for a long time, especially in relation to the Quarians and the Geth. Let's ask Admiral Xen how she likes being experimented on. The Catalyst is basically the flawed creation of an unknown race who thought they could save life by destroying it, seriously flawed logic, but from a purely "robotic" perspective it makes limited sense.

No one side truly deserved to die, at that point in my game, the geth were as valid of a race to me as the Quarians and Krogan ... I wanted everyone to to live. So I chose synthesis.

Destroy - Headcannon/speculations.

Now that I've played the EC:

Control - Paragon, Destroy, Refusal, Control - Renegade, and Synthesis in that order.

I just spent the last seven hours playing through every possible ending I could find. My favorite by far was the Destroy ending with a low EMS.

Were I in the game I would forge my own future, not have it given to me especially by some heretical Abominable Intelligence.  No...Mankind would, like the Geth say, create their own destiny.

Same here, I tensed up it came out of nowhere.

And he said he killed his own creators which means he is a hypocrite.

Hackett is very clear that all technology/machines that were destroyed can be rebuilt/recovered. That includes the Geth and EDI. Just a minor setback. Destroy is easily the best ending.

You lose nothing (for long) and Shepard survives (far as I know).

Destroy has always been my choice. Except for that time I accidentally chose Control without realizing it my first playthrough because I wasn't paying attention oops. It creeped me out watching Shepard disintegrate into a God or whatever.

I just can't get behind Control, especially because Shepard was fighting against TIM and his want for control the entire time. And synthesis is too happy for me - I don't like how everything in the world is right in .005 seconds.

Destroy. Every time. Also? My Shepard is a bangin' Engineer. She can reverse engineer EDI back to life; the Geth too. Especially with the help of my trusty quarian bestie. So take your huuuusks, and your reaper workeeerrrrs and just DIE ALREADY.
