I haven't played the new dlc because I want to know if its even worth my time. Please rate it out of 10 for me and tell me whether or not you were impressed.
Did you like the extended cut? (No Spoilers)

10/10
I thoroughly enjoyed all of the extra scenes and improved endings that were delivered. I watched all three with both my broshep and femshep...felt like a real ending this time!

maybe someone can tell me where the dlc is. origin doesnt seem to have it. i live in hong kong. does it mean i will get it in july??

Sadly, I will say that I wasn't expecting much from the DLC at all. I was afraid of getting my hopes up. Yet, after playing through 2 of the endings (FemShep, and ManShep), I can honestly say that I enjoyed them. THIS is what they should have been from the get-go. It wasn't perfect, though, nothing ever is. But it was something I can enjoy.

it takes it(the ending) from a 1 or 2 out of 10 to about a 7-8/10. i don't consider this the extended cut. this is the real ending. if only bioware sold a lobotomy dlc that helps us forget te original

I liked it. BW fixed most of the problems that I had with the original endings. I am now willing to play the game thru the ending instead of stopping after Horizon.

There will still some things unexplained but overall the EC made the endings significantly better. Glad to see that there are others who were pleased as well.
Oh right you asked for a rating. Before EC - 1/10. After EC - 9/10

Tolerable ending 5/10
Still plot holes, ending not really fitting with the whole concept of Mass Effect...and the list goes on lol

I hated the endings before and they made me not want to replay this game even though I loved 99% of it. But I can say I quite liked these ones. They aren't perfect, and if you completed hated the premise of the endings before you might still not like it, but there were a lot of really nice additions and they explained a lot more of that there space magic. I really liked the epilog thingys at the end. I'll actually be able to play my 4 other saves from me2 now! I'd give it a 8/10

It gave me closure and was satisfying enough. These were endings that I can live with. Not perfect, but good enough.

Trollish Cliffhanger ending with "5000+ EMS destroy", basically the same as the unedited version, but I actually thought and hoped they'd add on to that "easter egg", those of you who did the 5000+ Destroy know what the easter egg specific to it is.
But I was otherwise satisfied

preEC 0/10
EC 5/10
If this was ME2, it would be maybe 8-9/10, but for last part of trilogy it is still very weak!

It all depends what you found lacking in the original ending and what you expect to get from the new ending.
It's not perfect. There's a lot I wanted to see that wasn't there, and there's things that are there that I wish had been done differently. But I don't think it contains anything that is detrimental to the game.
If I had to compare, I'd say the original would be a generous 2/10, the extended cut a 5- or 6/10, and the game itself a 6- or 7/10. It is an improvement, even if not as substantial as I'd hoped.

Earlier, I hated it. I went back and played it again, and slowly changed my mind when I realized the intended message put across by the high-EMS destroy ending. Once that struck me, I liked it. Not loved, but liked. That said, I still maintain my derision toward the starchild. Its explanations for the Reapers weren't really improved, and certain plot-points weren't expanded on as much as I'd hoped. For now, however, I'm relatively sated. I simply hope Bioware has post-EC DLC planned.

I finally got a chance to play it tonight with my FShep after watching it on YT earlier today. I retract some of what I have written before as there were scenes in the EC that were very touching and there was better narrative. This actually felt like they put in effort, as opposed to what we got when the game launched.
I am one of those folks that hate the "twist" they introduced at the very end and don't really care for the choices, so on that level it did not satisfy me at all, but I already knew they weren't going to change it so I was not surprised.
I did appreciate the changes in regards to my squadmates and LI, had some emotional scenes and felt a sense of closure. I'm not sure this changes my sentiments towards BioWare and future DLC and new games, but they tried and I do appreciate it.

^ This... EC closed/explained some plot holes but created others. Some is high level nitpicking but still. All in all the EC was an improvement (though small) of what we had before

7/10. I liked it. Wasnt' fantastic, but still a far cry from the last time, which I would not even call an ending. This time I felt like effort was put into it. I was actually moved and wanted to see more. As far as I'm concerned, the extended cut did its job.
One cannot help but wonder why this wasn't included in the released version.

First it was 1/10. Now with EC its 1.5/10. And plus a SINGLE scene it would be 10/10. But now, as this didn't happen, its 1.5/10.
