Or more to the point, from whence do the Orlesians hail?

Could anyone possibly point me towards some lore on the Orlesians?

I know this seems like an odd place to make this post but I'm sketching out a potential project and I'm trying to not upset the continuity(die hards;-)) if I can help it.

The word you're looking for is "Orlais". The official wiki seem ot be lacking in information about Orlais, but the fan-run wiki seems have a small article on Orlais. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Orlais.

Spot on Ranlas exactly what I needed. You are right the lore on the Orlais is pretty thin on the ground looks like I have carte blanche which is always nice.

Until BioWare does another book or Dragon Age game. Then you'll just be off-lore again, but I don't think we can fault you for that!
