It made me cry, It made me laugh, it made me smile, it was an amazing game, I fealt connected to the game, with the people i saved, the people i choose to fight the reapers with, it was all something i could go to when life got to hard, something I could escape to, yes I was sad thats it over but hopefully they'll find something to continue it but overall i was very pleased with the series, how did it make you feel?

The trick was the low expectations we all had! It was way better than I expected.

Embarrassed for calling Bioware one of the best devs out there.

Are you going to take down all your BioWare-game gameplay videos?

At first, I was still furious for having to gimp to the starchild yet again and listen to his horrific explanations, but then...

they fixed him being presented as an infallible entity. They stated he was just an AI and created the Reapers to solve a problem, and the Reapers destroyed their creators. Thus, showing that he was indeed not an infallible source of logic.

This really made his presentation to me a lot more palatable. It was much more believable that he was simply an AI with a stated purpose and was willing to seek another solution to achieve that purpose now that our cycle presented a threat.

It still wasn't entirely satisfying picking the lesser of three evils for a choice, but the presentation of those choices was leagues better than before.

In the end, I feel less frustrated, and generally just able to accept the ending as something not fun to experience, but something I'm willing to just accept as canon and endure.

It still didn't give me the opportunity to point the kid to the Geth and Quarians and tell them, "Look, they're united against you! Two species, masters and creators, that were at war for decades if not centuries and yet here they are, fighting YOU!" Which would disprove it's logic that peace could be achieved through understanding only without the presence of fear (Fear being the Reapers, a race of technologically advances species with the desire to "harvest").

Refusal seemed like yet another good setting point for a better ending that could have been made. You fight the Catalyst (especially given the questioning when it describes it's creators and how it forced it's creators to become the first Reaper IE - itself) while it's a race against time as the Citadel powers up. That or Harbinger could have arrived and melded with the Citadel successfully while you try to prevent it from powering up a giant weapon of some kind.

Over all, I just feel disappointed. Not in Extended Cut, I knew we weren't getting additional gameplay when they announced it. But this game lacks a proper conclusion compared to the games before it, as cliche as their endings were, this game feels like an entity of it's own. Which is very frustrating to put up with. Even EC has the major flaw that bugged me about this game since I first beat it.

Don't forget the Catalyst also says it's creators were the first to become a Reaper and it explained that they too were not happy with this decision.

Apathy during starchild part, sadness like usual once An End Once and For All started, anger when I saw my LI hanging a plaque on the wall and realized there was no reunion.

I liked it a lot personally, and thought this is the ending we should have had in the first place.

It made me ink.

It was about what I was expecting--nothing too drastic. Something that should've been there in the first place though.

The EC is pathetic. It's just as bad as the previous endings if not worse.

Did you really not know before the EC that Synthesis and Control result in Shepard's death? The only ending where the LI doesn't put the plaque on the wall and instead give a hopeful smile is in the Destroy ending.

I was intrigued by the ways they expanded on some parts, but also disappointed that they seemed to continue to resist offering more personal closure. I'm glad they chose to do the extended cut, even though I may have hoped for more and would have liked some things to be handled differently.

I will be able to play the game again in the future (although the extended cut didn't really help in wanting me to replay it anytime soon, sadly), and I will absolutely be looking out for single-player DLC that has the full squad returning with new content.

With the ec I was very happy. many of the missing pieces fit now. Things make sense now and enjoyed the back story on the "ai" (can't call him the star child anymore can we). Best ending for me was Synthesis. The voicing for edi is what hooked me. very good voice acting in that one.

Went in with low expectations - just wanted a few of the more glaring plot holes from the original endings addressed (ie. Joker running, squad mates magically onboard ship, destroyed relays) and Bioware addressed them. It's not the endings I would have hoped for, but I now feel it's time for this Alliance soldier to move on. Endings drama aside, thanks for a fun 5-year ride Bioware.

I had very low expectations. So i was pleasentry surprised. THe sad part is that when i played i couldnt enjoy it as much, since i dont feel very connected to the ME universe anymore. I just dont care about the ME universe as  much anymore. sad. But at least now the endings are ok.

Meh. I didn't feel to much. It didn't sparked that little flame of conusion that soon turned into anger like the last time, but It didn't left happy and satisfied too. In the end I think, I just stopped carrying and I don't think Ill play this game another time since my choice still doesn't matter (Miranda dies in my game and shows up later in the cutscenes planning stuff)
