Yes you did. You dismiss those that hated the EC and only wanted to hear from those that liked the EC to fix the metacritic score that you feel is wrong.
He addressed the thread specifically to people who loved the game and haven't written a review or people that trolled it before but no longer feel that it's terrible. He asked them to do what they can to balance out what anyone but lunatics would know is an inaccurate user review average. Then you came in spouting sarcasm and waxing offended for no reason whatsoever.

I didn't write a negative review on Metacritic, but I don't plan on writing a positive one now either. The EC was the lowest barebones amount of work they could possibly do.

Wouldn't rate the game anything other than what I feel it deserves...and I'm a pretty harsh critic. I would put it somewhere around 6. But hey, that's a decent score for me...considering I feel that a 5 means "it's ok, but why bother?", and anything lower is just a rating of HOW terrible it is, and how quickly you should run away from it.

I think so many people don't like the EC because they never took a break from the forums since the original horrible endings and they are very fresh in their minds. When they see the new endings, all they are focusing on are the things that were in the old endings and not all of the new stuff. After they announced he EC I figured I woud leave ME and the BSN alone until the EC was released and I think it helped me look at the new endings with more of an open mind and see them for what they really are, which is a vast improvement over the originals.
However, as good as I think these new endings end the game, it wasn't the right way to end a series were our choices were supposed to greatly influence the outcome. Plain and simple, your past choices still don't matter at all, but at least ME3 is replay able for me now. Unfortunately I still don't see any reason to replay ME1 or 2 since the choices in those games still don't affect anything.

I rated it a 7 or 8, forgot exactly what. The score stands, there were issues beyond the ending.

I was going to stay out of this whole debale until i saw this.
What props? They certainly are not due here. As someone said earlier in the thread, damage was done, and more fluff does not fix that. The entire concept of the ending was flawed and still is. The entire premise of the Star Brat's argument was shot full of so many holes the moment EDI basically became sentient and fell in love with Joker and peace was brought about between the Geth and Quarians because they became fully aware and able to make their own choices. Essentially they became alive.
I won't go into the many other issues wrong with the ending/s... only to say that three games and five years of choices was all rendered mute by that now famous/infamous line "Artistic Integrity". I was a huge fan of Bioware, have been ever since KOTOR, but now... as with how I feel about the endings even Post EC... I'll take my money elsewhere.
I fully expect them to screw up SWTOR at some point in the future as well now. That seems to be the pattern with them as much as I hate to say it. I am so disappointed at this time I can't even bring myself to finish my fanfic. I certainly have no plans to purchase DA3. I'll stick with Skyrim for now.
Ah well... I'll take my business elsewhere like so many others.
To those who are happy with the endings... I salute you. I probably expected too much.

Seriously the bad ratings are just stupid. The endings were bad but come on, the rest of the game was great. Giving it a bad review just because of the ending is stupid.

ME3 is not deserving anything above 7 on it's own even without taking endings into account. With original endings it is 3/10, now it is 5/10.

No.It was mediocre except for 2 missions and quests that were part of them.Other then that the rest were second rate to me.The EC well gee nice slide show.Reminds me of the 60s.Folks got closure cool.It just wasn't the ending for me.Also when you put out all this hype and don't deliver you get what you deserve.Unhappy fans.Plenty enjoyed it.More power to them.I am not one of them.The only thing I can say is it was better than DA2.
