Seriously the bad ratings are just stupid. The endings were bad but come on, the rest of the game was great. Giving it a bad review just because of the ending is stupid.

It was great to you.Glad to hear it.I was average at best. The only reason for that was 2 missions that were just awesome. That kept ,it from being a total disaster for me.

It deserves the score it already has, possibly lower. Too many role play elements were taken out, and the story did not have anywhere near the amount of elaboration or lore expansion that it should have gotten. It was good at best, bland and repetitive on average.

Actually the hatred from the ME3 got them more coverage than they'll ever get through conventional marketing. So what if the metacritic scores sucks? They'll probably be hearing from the few million user that finally got EC and found it an acceptable ending.

Seriously. Not taking endings in the account, game has SO much more problems. Terrible beginning. Auto-dialogue. Fetch quests. Choices do not matter. Tali's face. Plotholes. OOC Shepard. ME2 squad as cameos. And that's only the top of the iceberg.

Will not be changing my score.  After submitting a letter to Bioware with suggestions, taking 3 surveys, taking part in the retake movement, & the on/off campaign & being ignore by Bioware with EC, not a chance.

Where are MY decisions reflected?

Rachni? Omega Mercs? Volus Bombers?

Exactly.

5.1 is quite generous, even with the EC.

The game is a complete mess.

I think that the low userrating does not reflect the overall quality of the game very well. Especially when put into context of other games of that rating.

But it's a strange thing. The third part of a trilogy is not only measured by it's own standards. It's measured as part of the trilogy. And because ME3 didn't deliver the high quality of ME1 concerning one of it's core features, the story, a lower rating is natural.

And me, personally, i think the very low rating could be helpful for BioWare to understand the severity of their problem to understand what their targeted audience is paying for.
I just hope they take the user critics more seriously (as this is the people that pay for their product) than the journalists rating (who are the people that get payed by their adverts).

If they do I would have hope that they turn this thing around and start to make good games again. They have the team to do it. They just need the willing... and maybe lose a bit of their arrogant attitude.

Kidding? For Me ME1 is the worst , both in storytelling and game mechanics (especially no ammo and some stupid overheating) , ME2 is the best, ME3 in between.

ME3 has the exact same mechanics as ME2. Even more - because you have better weapon modification, and character leveling was adjusted (two choices how to upgrade for each ability)

This^ The big one fore me was that the ME2 LI and squadmates were just cast aside.

I care very little about gameplay. Story-wise, ME2 is RPG as there are much much more choices, dialogue options, persuasions, outcomes.

Umm, do you mean YOU are kidding? You are quite possibly the only person I've ever seen that says ME1 is the worst of the three in story telling.

İ like it when people think levelling up and loots/upgrades are equal to role play.
Which makes Diablo/Borderlands games the best RPG.

Edit: I voted 6 before EC(i was generous :)) and thats the highest point im giving.

Don't you know that deciding which ammo to use is roleplaying.

ME3 is mediocre. I would gave it 6. But 5 is okay for it too.
