 I don't care what you think random poster who is going to come in here and post something negative about this topic. Don't expect a reply. This is for BioWare.

All most of us wanted, was closure for the Commander. Reunion with the girl/guy and a real feeling that we can walk away from his story and be ready for whatever you had next. Instead you had to pull a Halo and leave it open for a sequel or just a cruel joke on our heart strings.

If this was truly the end of his story, than why was it so hard for you to close it out?

I choose neither. Instead my choice is to put the pinch to BioWare. I will just avoid their games from now on. At least their are some promising new IPs on the way in the next year to move one with.

I am not interested in the hold the line movement. At this point I have two games from EA backed developers that have not met the expectations that were set for them.

One thing is for certain, money does talk and bulls**t does walk. My money just told me to save myself a third disappointment.

it's a stinking shame that mass effect 2 ending and gameplay using A TEAM trumps this crap extended dlc.

I do plenty of that in my own role-playing games for D&D or Pathfinder. Sometimes I like to be taken on a ride through a good story rather than give the ride. Unfortunately the only ride here was dissappointment.

You can get closure if you want. Have a high EMS and pick destroy. Shepard will live and your LI will hold out on putting your name on the memorial because they believe you are alive. The destroy ending with high EMS implies that you'll see your LI again and live happily ever after.

I didn't want implications. Think about it, I already had that when I originally saw him take a breath. My complaint was never with the cutscenes before that little shot of him taking a breath, my issue was always that it pulled a Soprano's style ending and just cut to black.

Sorry BioWare, but you did not earn that "artistic integrity."

BTW Phuz, HOW much ems do you need? I had a little over 5100, and garrus still put my damn name plate on there!

He only won't put it up on destroy ending. I had just over 7000 and my LI didn't put the plaque up

Don't worry - I'm not actually interested in a reply. I just think this is somewhat silly because there was definitely closure. It doesn't get more final than Shepard's plaque going on the memorial wall, and per what Phuz said, the implication in Destroy is that you do make it and will, quite likely, be reunited with your LI. Christ, people literally seem incapable of using their imaginations even a teeny-weeny bit sometimes.

You need to pick destroy and have the scene of shepard taking a breath (5000 EMS or 4000 if you save anderson)

You got closure. That it wasn't the closure you wanted is a different thing, but it's there.
