I just have a good feeling right now that most of us here are eventually going to get what we all wanted after all. A user on the threads here by the name of tenojitsu makes a great point in saying that in the control ending and the synthesis ending, your love interest is seen placing a nameplate on the memorial wall with the name Commander Shepard on it. But, this user noticed that in the Destroy ending, your love interest is just about to place the nameplate with Shepard's name on the wall when he/she actually hesitates and pulls back as we see the Normandy all of sudden fly away to somewhere and the screen fades to black before showing the cliffhanger with Shepard breathing. This paticular scene on top of the epilogue taking place before the "Shepard Breath" scene basically confirms that Shepard is indeed alive in this cliffhanger that they wanted us to speculate.

Here's what I think this scene is leading to and why it was added to begin with. No it wasn't added because of the IT and it also wasn't added for the continuation for a ME4, well at least that wasn't what was intended originally by this scene. I believe now more than ever that this "Shepard Breathing" scene was added to introduce a future Romance DLC Pack where you are reunited with your love interest as he/she searches for your wounded body in the rubble of the Citadel. Obviously, your Love Interest must have some kind of hope that Shepard is still alive if they never fully placed the nameplate on the wall.

And, how convenient that the Normandy just seemingly takes off right after this memorial scene possibly implying that your Love Interest is now determined to make sure Shepard is dead on the Citadel. Only, they will find that Shepard is still indeed alive and this could lead to some gameplay where you and your love interest must escape the Citadel or something like that. I don't know. Just an idea. I know many of you would pay for this and so would I. Here's the scene if you want to see for yourself: www.youtube.com/watch. Around the 16:30 mark you can see Liara pulls back and hesitates putting the nameplate on the wall. Would you guys be overjoyed if this happens?

This is exactly what I would like to see and is the only loose end still left as well as the only thing I still want from Bioware when it comes to the endings.

That would imply that Destroy ending is the true ending, I just don't see it.

Romance is great but such a small part of the game, are people willing to pay for something that will essentially be a cheezy reunion moment?

I mean I get the desire, but it sets a dangerous precedent.

Yes.

However all DLC will be pre ending, 0 chance of this happening. The game is just borked. Accept it. FUBAR.

I know what you mean. I would like to see Shepard build Tali her house on Rannoch or Liara's little blue babies, but I don't see BioWare making DLC that only applies to one of four endings. I wouldn't mind seeing it and I would gladly pay for it, but the destroy ending is good enough as it implies Shepard and his LI will be together again someday.

Would it be cool, sure.

It just sets a dangerous precedent though and implies one ending is superior to the others.  Now if you could do one DLC that somehows allows one to continue play with all of the endings... then maybe?

I am just not sure how that would work.

I think anything else after this will be paid DLC. I dont think i would pay more to see what i should have seen in the original ending.

I guess they will add some new gameplay to make it seem more legit. But the premise still stinks to me.

Honestly I hope they don't do this, it would never live up to expectations and honestly I think Head-cannon would always trump somethign with this much emotional attachment.

Hmmm, seems unlikely that they would add more to the ending, but if they did I would want it to be more then just that. Honestly I wouldn't mind a full expansion after the ending. It would just about have to make the destroy ending cannon though, but personally I'd be fine with that too. You could still enjoy the endings as is, but transfer only games with the destroy ending. I don't know what you'd be achieving aside from reuniting with Shepard, but I know the writers are more then creative enough to come up with enough content to make it worth while. :-)

There is not going to be DLC that takes place after the ending.

Although there are issues with the way they chose to expand upon the one ending where Shepard doesn't die (sadly, it's more of a re-imagining than an expansion in this case), it's not likely to ever change now.

Woah, didn't notice that. Good catch.

I've also noticed that the LI looks almost happy in the Destroy ending, where you get the breathing scene.

Precisly.

But ! It´s not only your LI ... it´s your whole crew that has made it it´s goal to find you.

So I´d rather change it to crew reunion .

I agree with the OP, but I also think it would have been cool to see a DLC for each ending.
To bad that BioWare won't make them

hope the idea comes true...there is alot of ways that this DLC can be implemented in all endings (except refusal) lets just hope they will listen to it and we can have this last moment with our friends and LIs.

I'm content with what I got.

Not so much happy, but content. There's no real need for more. Would be nice, but I can live without it.

Plus, Shepard kinda has to explain 'yeah, I chose to destroy EDI and the geth because....I like f*cking you? *cue awkward smile*

Even after the EC, i'm still not satisfied with the endings. They're more bearable, sure...but i'm not yet sated. I'm not content, I need that reunion.

Make it so, BioWare.

And here we go again ... Speculation. The thing that everyone wants to do after experiencing the end of a trilogy. But not speculation about something in the middle of the story ... No, speculation about the ending, the conclusion itself. Yes! I love this one ... not!
Oh sorry about that. Actually I wanted to say this:

Although I don't think that this is going to happen ... I hate to say that, but ... In the EC BW obviously refused to give us a satisfying LI/crew reunion ... Just one scene would have been enough, it's not hard, remember, they had 3 months ... So ... Why should they care now? Image IPB Sidequest DLCs are much more important! Just like: Come on, Shepard. Do it, do it, fight, talk, run ... As a reward you can chose how you want to die or how you want to possibly be found or not or ... You can imagine the rest.
Sh*t! I did it again. Sorry. Image IPB

If this ends up being true the game would become PERFECT for me.  I already love what they did with EC and this would be icing on the cake!<3
