Bioware keeps promising they had cool thing in store for the future of Mass Effect. If the DLC is the future of Mass Effect I may buy it.

I will not be interested in any DLC that is before the ME3 end, during the gameplay leading up to the end, and will certainly not be interested in any DLC that is set far in the past during previous extinction events. They have to go forward or I don't care at all.

I don't have to play Shep, but it has to be post Starkid or I don't really care to play, knowing what is coming(the crappy ending).

Anything before the ME3 ending, will just be a constant reminder of the depressing ****ty ending that is coming. Go forward with DLC or don't bother.

Yes. Very, and I mean very, few game developers would have done what Bioware did. The fact that they gave us the extended cut (which in my opinion was amazing and an incredibly emotional) at no additional cost is amazing and shows us that they really do care about us. I will be buying any and all of the future ME3 DLC.

Yes...
The EC vastly improved the face value ending while preserving the core of IT (including the breath scene)...
Leviathan DLC already has me interested...

I won't be buying anything, the Mass Effect series is now over for me. Those endings were final, everything done before them is pointless as it always comes down to picking one of three (or now four) options that have nothing to do with your previous experiences. So any DLC before that will also be nothing but filler, just a pointless activity before reaching Star Kid.

With Shepard dead I don't see much point of playing post game DLC either, the Mass Effect series to me was about Shepard and his or her journey through it. I don't want to buy a DLC that focuses on some other group somewhere else, I'm really not interested in what the rest are doing. I had my own personal story and that's come to a rather abrupt end. No DLC will add to that.

Very few dev's have ever been put in a position to lose tens of thousands of loyal fans over a single aspect of the game, they get to look like knights in shining armor, but the truth of the matter is they absolutely had to make the EC, it wasn't an act of charity from a gamer oriented company, no matter how much it seems it was.

and as for the OP, probably not.

I'm still pretty intrigued by the statement "if you knew what we had in store you'd keep your saves forever!"

Midgame DLC seems somewhat pointless, but as long as it looks engaging enough I will most likely purchase it.

If the rumors of having a rogue reaper join you turn out to be true and his added strength allows us to bypass BioWare's macguffin and win with a refusal ending... maybe.

That's what it's come to. Being willing to let BioWare spoonfeed me increasingly satisfactory endings packaged in with DLC.

If the rumored "Leviathan DLC" turns out to have some truth to it and actually gives us a chance to actually stand a chance against the Reapers conventionally I'll get it. If not, I won't.

No, likely. Only if the DLCs is not pointless in regards of the outcome of the series.
This does not mean it should change the ending, but it should be reflected in the end that something was different from the playthrough before without picking a different starchild-decision.

Eh. I doubt there's anything they could release that would appeal to me.

Only reason I might want an Omega DLC is because I heard a while ago that Morinth was mentioned in the leaked script for that scene, back before the game came out. Kind of want my Paragon to rescue her before she becomes a Banshee... but that's not enough for me to pay more than 2 bucks for. I like Aria, but don't really care about Omega that much.

If it was an expansive Romance/Party Interaction DLC, maybe. But idk.

After the latest changes to the ending, I would be willing to buy BioWare DLC once again.

Now that Shepard's story has ended, I don't have the urge to play DLC that adds a little more to ME3.

Wouldn't object to the idea of having DLC that involved characters from ME2, like Zaeed, Miranda, and Aria. Just don't want to pay any more on missions involving Shepard. They've closed the book on him/her now, and it would be a good opportunity to show that other people were fighting The Reapers and Cerberus. GOW3 did it with Raams Shadow, why not this game?

Doubtful

I think they did a great job on the EC. The truth of it is I just can't stand to see Shepard die after everything. I really don't mind the idea of the hero sacrificing him/her self to save everyone but this was different. I put hundreds of hours into the series, getting attached to the characters, and feeling like my decisions shaped the world only to have that ripped out from under me and have the only option at the end be suicide. Was it really asking so much for a true happy ending? I mean even Frodo survived.... Frodo.

No.Has to do with credibility. They have none with me.As far as ME3 and DA2 side.SWTOR has because they have worked at improving their game.Yes it is a MMO but they listen to the fans.Actions speak louder than words and SWTOR has shown that. This EC has show me ME 3 folks probably had slide projectors when they were young. That is nice.It is 2012.

Will I buy any more DLC? Hmmmm...highly unlikely at this point, but I don't rule out the possibility completely. A lot of it would depend on whether or not the current people in charge of the franchise are still in charge of the DLC content (and I have a feeling they will be).

And it has nothing to do with "punishing" or boycotting either Bioware or EA. I simply am wary of the storytelling choices made by the current creative heads. In other words, if it seems like the people in charge of the story/franchise are not writing material that is to my taste or compatible with my sensibilities, it's kind of silly for me to pay money for more content written by them.

No, EC still didn't make ME3 playable for me. Past few days i tried to complete my second playthrough, then IT came out watch all four endings (wich is well done btw) on youtube and destroy still kills EDI and the geth no matter how much i will prepare. CONTROL and SYNTHESIS are not how i want to end reaper threat. And yesterday i simply uninstall all mass effect games (all three and i still have about 8-9 sheps unplayed) with ORIGIN app alongside. So no, unless they will make EDI and the Geth live with high enough EMS, then will be maybe if content worth the money.

To be honest, I'll probably wait until all dlc is released, maybe that'll make a further change to the ending. Hell, I might even hope that with the insanely increased EMS you might be able to flip off Harbinger/Catalyst and watch its shocked face as you decimate the Reapers. Hey, I can hope, right?:wizard:

No. The endings still make any DLC pointless.

This.

Unless the DLC alters the ending in such a way to reflect it, what's the point? ME2 DLC allowed you to bring more squadmates to the suicide run and/or set up ME3. What can ME3 DLC do if it doesn't alter the endings?

This is how I feel.
