Do not refuse authority.


The ending was like your parents telling you that you have 3 choices in life:

R) Join the Army
G) Become a hippie
Become the Illusive Man

Refusal) They kill you and have another child. The cycle continues



What ive learnt here, is do not question authority. Its not 'Hold the line' anymore, but instead its 'Fall back in line'.
