anyway, to get the scene were shepards takes a breath, you must have 5000.

EDIT: Hmm, I'm getting tons of different answers to my original question... The general consensus seems to be 4k EMS.

i like to know how i can get 3100 EMS without playing the MP. 2700 seams to be the only EMS i can get by playing the SP only.

Did you import from ME2? If so, did you also do the boring planet scanning? Should be possible to even exceed 7,000 TMS.Metalrocks wrote...

4000 was the old value. The new value is 3100 but only if you load a save before Cronos Station.contown wrote...
That breath scene doesn't change at all with EC?

yes, i did import my saves from ME2 and i did the planet scanning in ME2. unless you mean in ME3, then i dint really do it. because the journal is bad and it kind turned me off to do any side missions.
well, since the endings are ok, i cna play it again, and start playing from the save before i attack the cerberus base.

I have around 2.7k strength at 50% readiness, and I'd like to get through multiplayer grinding quickly. How much do I need for a good ending?

how many side missions are there still?
now i have over 3400 EMS and 50% readiness (which seems to never change). so in this case i should see everything, even the breath scene?

i had 2700 and anderson still said he was proud at me.

I think its 3500 EMS. One of my Sheps had 3400+ EMS, choose destroy and she died.
It's not, I had 3300 EMS and didnt die.

Honestly its 3100, Bioware said so and I tested it last night and got the best ending that used to require over 5000 EMS before the EC came along.

The autosave right before the Cronos station. I know you then get some more EMS added on from events that happen as you play (can't post spoilers here) so I might have ended up with a bit above 3300 at the end.

I loaded up my old save which only had EMS in the mid 3000s right before the "charge the beam" scene.
Previously I wouldn't get the "breath" scene, but now I do. So I guess the game now looks at the new EMS requirements regardless of whether you start off before Chronos Station.
Anyone know if there is any EC content before the "charge the beam" scene?

None that I saw. Actually had to stop and check that the EC had properly downloaded as I played for nearly 2 hours before the beam and nothing had changed, started to worry it wasn't installed, lol
