Destroy all day, everyday. It's the only ending that let's life just be life.
If you spoke to EDI and Legion during the series then you'd also know they favor self determination over self preservation.
Destroy frees life from Big Brother... whether that's God-Shepard or God-Reapers. So yeah, Destruction ironically is life.
Cant beleive people dont see destroy as best ending

Well, at least it resets the galaxy. One of the surviving races will make new synthetics that aren't as nice as the geth turned out to be, some other race will make an attempt to figure out a way to achieve harmony with synthetics, that attempt will result in reapers v2.0 and here we go again. But, that whole mess will probably take longer than 50,000 years at least. It's very ragnarok, if you think about it.

Way I saw the ending, especially with Control, you could be a happy god or a vengeful god. You can be one who works in the benefit of the galaxy. Or you could basically rule them like slaves. Your choice.
I ultimately chose Destroy though.

I thought a lot about the new endings today. In my opinion, each is wonderfully narrated. So, good job, Bioware. Also I think Destroy is the only good ending. Atleast for me and my Shepard
Btw, a lot of interpretation follows, not everything was mentioned directly in the epilogue.
Control:
Controlling the Reapers seems good at first. I really liked it pre-EC, because I thought Shepard would simply send the Reapers back to where they came from and Geth and EDI would survive. The EC however shifted it into a, in my opinion, terrible option.
Shepard being an almost almighty avatar of peace sounds good. The peace however would be brutally forced upon everyone. Maybe no species would dare to attack another, maybe all Krogan clans live happily ever after. But what if they dont? What if someone crosses the line Shepard has set ? And Shepard isnt neutral or omniscient. It explicitly says his mind and memory control the Reaper. My Shepard had strong opinions about certain persons or in certain situations. Hell, even through i played mostly paragon i punched that journalist twice. Someone opposing him? Bring the Reaper forces!
So it boils down to this: Either the whole galaxy lives in peace, but also constant fear of the galaxy annilihating reaper forces or Spacegod Shepard has to intervene and that would be terrifying.
Synthesis:
Looks good. In a way-too-utopian kind of way. There are still some problems in my opinion. Maybe there will be peace between organics and synthetics. Maybe there wont. Even though the DNA was mixed, there are still two types of beings. Those who were organics before the synthesis and those who werent. One difference being the organic and synthetic bodies. EDI still has her "robotic" form. Thats potential for all kinds of conflict, but also this might just be me, retconing the ending Bioware presented us. If there is peace, organics might still have lost a lot. By mixing the DNA either they became more synthethic in their way of thinking. Cold, caluclating and so on. This would mean they lost a big portion of what made them special. Or machines became more emotional etc. Given their technologically based body-advantage, high processing power etc. this could be devastating for all organics. If there is the everlasting peace were promised, this wont pose much of a problem however. Also Husks, Banshees etc. are going to get hunted down. No way they will start living alongside the others. And last, Shepard forces this decision on every living being in the galaxy, changing what they are forever.
Destroy:
Well, in my opinion the only viable choice. The geth died anyway in my playthrough so I did not hesitate to choose that option. Even if they didnt, synthetics are just machines. This doesnt mean you shouldnt treat them with respect and so on. But having to sacrifice them in order to rescue organic life isnt a hard choice. I also didnt get that sentimental about EDI. Although she has a body, she is still a machine. Hackett said everything could be rebuild and I think thats possible. What still bothers me is that destroying is, like starchild said, no real solution to the conflict between synthetics and organics. But I think organics can learn form the past and future generations wont let another conflict like the one between geth and quarians happen, or maybe they wont develop A.I. again.
Refusal:
Cool that Bioware gave us that option, but it doesnt seem to justify the years I´ve been working against the Reaper thread

I don´t care which ending others prefer, because the ending I choosed it´s my choice and I want to be the person who´s happy with. Others may like different ending, because they are happy with it. I don´t think my choice is the ultimate truth, so I never would think less or try to convince someone, because one prefers another ending.

In the Destroy ending (pre or post EC), the Geth being destroyed is not shown. I'm saying that when the StarChild says "you will not only destroy the Reapers but all synthetics, including the synthetic stuff in your own body", there is no reason to believe him.
Pre choice: you simply have no reason to trust him. There was evidence before meeting Legion that the Geth might not be as evil as once thought. For the Kid, there is no such evidence.
After the choice, the Geth are not shown being destroyed, and Shep breathes which tells me that his synthetic parts were not destroyed either. I didn't record my ending (and now regret it) but I think EDI was alive too at the memorial scene(?).
