No more endings guys, like it or not.

to be fair they said no post ending dlc, a new ending dlc won't be post , and if they add on to the refusal, being able to actually win conventionally with something like reapers on your side. but bioware is a company, they  might just do it for money:devil:

Again, not the point of my question. I'm not asking 'Will there?', I'm asking 'What if?'

If the Leviathan will make winning under "Refusal" possible I may possibly buy it.

I will hate you so much if this ends up like the Indoctrination Theory. I was so disappointed when Bioware said the IT was not true.

If the package in a brief, 12 second, 50 MB reunion video through one of the DLC's, it will gurantee sales.

It's hard to believe they won't consider it, although I doubt they will

Sure, I want this, so I'll buy it.

Mid-story content with no bearing whatsoever on what comes after... That, I find useless.

This. Really, I think it'd be great. Maybe not the... most innocent busincess practice, but hell, it's better than DLC that does nothing for the end. The end is much better, but still is missing things here and there. Such an plan would be really cool to see.

Said this in a similar thread but absolutley not. It reinforces bad practice on BioWares part and will encourage a similar sort of thing in the future. I still love the work that has gone into the three games and the EC makes it (somewhat) bearable for me. I look at it as not letting the crappy work of a few (Casey and pals, I'm looking at you) ruining good work by everyone else. :-)

Well problem with that is there has to be an incentive to buy DLC for this game. No matter what shepard dies and RGB are your only choices. Whats the point.

If you can really discover a new 5th Ending through story-DLCs, I don't know what to think.
Part of me wants to go over to Bioware and chase the whole Team there through their offices with some slapping-device, but another part of me thinks it could be pretty cool. It would still look like a rip off, but if executed carefully and with excellent writing like the OLD BIOWARE could do it, I think, I can live with that.

And then I go to EA and chase them, because they pressed for a too early release-date :)

There are three possible outcomes of Leviathan DLC.

1. It will maybe explain what happened to Harbinger after Priority Earth (killed by Levy)

2. It may give new plot for Mass Effect 4 (Breathe scene is start, you need also antagonist to create a story) So even if you pick control ending, Leviathan will show that Reapers can be rouge (Catalyst control Reapers, you'll assume control over them only, so even after this, there will be Reapers who will rebel agaisnt you)

3. It may give another ending, for example Control ending but with Leviathan, since it's inside of EC DLC already.

A Reaper traitor would nullify the Control ending, because it would show that you can't control them and there is a permanent danger if they are alive.

I get where you;re coming from, and I somewhat agree, but I take a more nuanced, subtler position.

Giving people an awful ending, then haivng them buy a proper ending as DLC is bad business practice. I wholly agree with that.  Which is part of why I fought for RetakeME3.

However, I feel that with the EC, RetakeME3 has somewhat succeeded, in that the endings that were part of the game, have been augmented with enough emotional depth to make them worthwhile eindings of their own.

Which changes the situation somewhat: Instead of having to buy DLC to get a proper ending, replacing the bad endings that I got, I get to have an emotionally satisfying ending with the game, and when I buy DLC that expands my story and adds more hours to gameplay,  also get another bonus in an extra ending. One that isn't better, or worse, than the ones I already have, just different. Like "Build-A-Figure": if you collect all the DLC, you get an extra bonus in a new ending. Again, not a better one, just another one. But the precondition for this HAS to be, that the already existing endings have to be sufficient on their own. And before the EC, they were not. Now, post-EC? I can live with them.

I would love this but I am not getting my hopes up, besides reject is enough for me. Though I still think ending an epic story with a 10 minute discussion is kind of anticlimactic.
