look its as simple as it gets
after you finished the game since it is "the final me game"
if there is no ending change or impact in any future DLC
if it is not free its not worth any money
shep and his crew were mass effect with the story they told gone so will the game
so either the dlc hold change and new possibility's or its gonna just be declared as a waste of money
simple

^this.

if you choose the refusal ending why could´nt you contact the normandy and explain the situation of your choices. then you might reprogram the catalyst beam fro example only destroy reapers and not geth or EDI.

As some of you may have seen, the Extended Cut DLC has content that hints at new DLC, DLC that might involve the original creators of the Reapers/Catalyst.

In case this is news, here's the thread:
http://social.biowar.../index/12777408

Now, the Extended Cut inserts new dialogue in a number of places, for instance the conversation with the Star Child, that very slightly touch on this subject. As I said, the Star Child mentions the original creators, and that they have been turned into the very first Reaper. This could mean nothing, with ut just being extra padding, or it could be an intentional link to this rumored DLC.

Suppose the following: You buy the new DLC. You get new information. Maybe buy the next DLC, and the third one as well. Each hands you new information about the Reapers. And if you have all the pieces of information, so, all the paid DLC, the Refusal ending changes from Annihilation of the Cycle to succesfully convincing the Catalyst to stop.

However, you HAVE to buy the DLC to get this option.

How would you feel about this? Would you buy the DLC? Would you refuse on principle? Or would you just like the fact that there is more story-DLC, more gameplay, and not give a damn about any potential new ending?

I've always felt that BW has left the field open to new endings via DLC... They've said that ME3 is a complete game with a beginning, middle and an end, but they, AFAIK, have never said explicitly that there would never be new endings added in the future.

Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut represents the definitive version of the endings to the Mass Effect trilogy, and the final resolution of Commander Shepard’s journey. We have no plans to release further content related to the endings.

And what about a revamped Priority: Earth mission 2.0?  Will Bioware at least consider that?

When in Rome... At this time I have no plans to purchase further content from Bioware until they change those endings.

There was a time when this comment made me sad. But now i'm just glad it's over. I think it's best for everyones mental health if they just let Shepard stay dead and buried.

You know, a part of me hopes - foolishly - that Bioware is doing what Blizzard does with its WOW expansions.

You know all these Multiplayer expansions seem to have mini-stories in them and they seem to all follow the course of a war. A part of me thinks that bioware is planning something. but then I watch the endings again and I become a sad volus.

If there is a new trilogy, I expect we've have a new storyline and a new character.  Which would probably be for the best.

I KNOW!  Isn't it amazing how committed to bad BioWare has become! Image IPB

If I know bioware I would never say never. If the demand keeps up, there is bound to be a reunion dlc. EVERYONE wants our reunion. Golden opportunity, do not miss

That's not entirely true...there are a lot of very vocal folks who are against a reunion...but if it's DLC...meh they can choose not to buy that one.

I don't have any interest in ME3 DLC at all...from the Day 1-we-removed-it-from-the -original-game-to make-extr--err-cuz-we-ran-out-of-time ridiculousness to the new stuff that has/will come out. I don't need to know more about teh Reapers or care to...they were much better when they were mysterious and creepy. Now they are just worthless, uninteresting pawns, controlled by some AI. Meh...not interested in more of that.

Now, if a DLC came with a proper Refuse ending, leading to Shepard taking out the Reaper Brain she is stuck up in space with...even if it means she dies doing it (I don't -have- to have a reunion to like the ending) rather than just bend over and trust the thing like she currently does....I'd likely buy it and then go back and buy previous DLC content. Till that time....not interested.

How is this news man?

Everyone knows Bioware is done with the endings - forever

All that is left is pre-ending DLC. Maybe when one of us becomes very rich and powerful we can invest $100 million to remake Mass Effect 3

Game over man game over!

Read "The Puzzle Theory". There the guys state that a fifth ending would be possible if one has all the DLC.

If Leviathan brings Anderson back

If Leviathan includes Shiara and Gianna making a comeback

If Leviathan does all that than sure i would pay bioware whatever but if not oooops darn they aint gettin a penny from me.

:)  I haven't bought any of the dlc that has come out.  I have no reason to, stopped playing after 2 Shepards.  However, I too would purchase something like this and all past DLC too.   Let Geth and Quarians work together, if you got them to co-operate and  I was very irritated that no matter what I did Anderson died.

I think if they made a big final dlc with something like this they would be surprised at the number of people who would purchase it.  Not the ones who were totally satisfied with the current ending choices, but the ones who stopped playing and the ones who kept playing but would have liked another choice for some of their Shepards, something less ambiguous than a charred body that takes a breath and more heroically, happily, spectacular and uplifting.  Yeh, I'd buy it.

hmm....don't know why I ever expected anything else. Goodbye and good riddance BW. Finally time to erase all of my playthroughs, accounts on this forum and everything else - never to look back again. I really don't give 2 damns anymore about this game or the universe you created. It's been *ahem* real....lame, that is.
