I've been a paragon player from the start of the series so when it was time to pick the Extended Cut endings I went in this order: 1) shoot the little brat (seriously, is there anyone who hasn't done this right away? ), 2) Control, which I loved, and 3) Synthesis, which still creeped me out and made me feel like I betrayed everyone, despite it being the utopia happy ending.

I didn't even check out Destroy ending in my game because I didn't want to sit through unskippable cutscenes for the fourth time for an ending that I possibly wouldn't like. But then I watched the video of it on youtube and was completely blown away. It was exactly what I wanted for my ending to be and it felt much more in line with the rest of the series than other endings. Emotions I experienced were very similar to the ones at the end of Mass Effect 1 and then ME2 (both paragon endings).

So, a question, paragon players - do you consider Destroy ending to be a renegade option?

and no. I don't think paragon/renegade comes into it at all, which is what they were trying to achieve with the putting Anderson and TIM with opposing colours to their nature.

I picked destroy ending too - and yes - it does seem like a Renegade option (which is partly a concept from IT).

Although I don't care if its paragorn or not. My shep set out to destroy the Reapers and that she did, no matter the cost.

Me. It's an unfortunate, but needed sacrifice.

I believe the options colors are matched to the Catalyst's logic. Destroying the Reapers means chaos will continue to the Catalyst, so of course it'd be Renegade Red.

I pick Destroy. Honestly, all of the endings have horrible moral implications and Paragon/Renegade have little to do with it. Destroy just seems like the least crappy option for everyone.

I went for destroy as a Paragon too. Anything else, to me, just feels like giving in to what others want. The Reapers really want Synthesis, Illusive Man wants control. Given what we know about both factions I'll take my chances thank you very much.

I did. Paragon all the time, but Destroy is the only ending that satisfies me now that EC has landed, for various reason. I think my personal ParaShep will always feel guilty about what happens to EDI and the Geth, but that's a sacrifice she wouldn't want anyone else to have to make. That's just how we roll. ^^

I did. The Epilogue slides with Hackett speaking about the now united galaxy made me think it was the Paragon decision.

I shoot the Brat for fun but it's actually an ending.
After that I reloaded and chose destroy.

I too pick Destroy with a Paragon. Control seems a set up for ME4 with Shep as the bad guy with all that power, and no amount of idealistic whitewashing will make me see Synthesis as something other than an abomination. The writers may try to ignore all the implications, but I won´t.

Paragade, destroy only way to end this. Except from refusal, but this is kamikaze genocide of everyone we know, therefore isn't really so paragon.

That being said, the EC made the other options pretty damn cool. Synthesis is still a weird concept, but control with the Shepard-speaks ending was pretty awesome.

Destroy is not renegade, none of the chocies are either paragon/renegade.

Destroy is also the best ending imo.

I am paragon, I think the ending choices you can't really call any paragon or renegade, because they all have pros and cons, just some of the cons are less obvious than others, for example synthesis less obvious con - You now have a heap of husks, are they mindless? What will happen with them?

Or control - What happens 10,000 years in the future, will "Sheapers" (Yes Shepard and reapers NEW WORD TRADEMARKED BY ME... ) See something they don't approve of and continue the cycle? Or with destroy, other than the obvious, will the dead reapers still indoctrinate? (I.E. Brown Dwarf Reaper, etc)

So as a paragon I saw the destroy as the best option.
