 I am always paragon leaning, and I can't see picking anything other than destroy. It was the purpose of being there to begin with, it's why so many sacrificed their lives, it just made sense.

Paragon (mostly). Destroy. Only acceptable choice. I try to look at the Geth and EDI as breaking an arm to shoot the Reapers in the head.

And don't tell me "b-but the cycle will continue". Oh really? The leader of every Reaper in existence wants to marginalize the success of the "kill them all" option? REALLY? Shocking. Given how full of crap he is about the inevitable synthetic conflicts, I'm pretty sure that this is the "we win for good" option.

 I went full Paragon and then did the destroy ending. The only one that made any sense to the cause.

My canon Shepard is full Paragon throughout all games and I pick Destroy. I don't think any of the endings are really paragon/renegade.

That's the thing isn't it. Destroy is neutral, control varies depending on your para/rene (kudos to them for that at least), and synthesis is left so painfully vague that you can take their "and then it was all better and nothing bad happened anymore," and turn it into whatever the hell you want, be it utopia or brain washing.

I would have preferred an ending that determined the fate of the galaxy based on your actions, EMS, and para/rene scores to being thrown the choice at the end, even if it meant we only had one ending that varied in severity.

I've always played a Paragon. And I could only choose the destroy ending (Even before the Extended Cut). Originally when posed with the choices I was drawn towards control, but before going trough with it, I turned around and went for destroy whilst apologizing to EDI and the Geth.

During my second playthrough, I came to notice that every single one of good guys/your crew members; wanted the Reapers destroyed. Destroy is the only ending for me.

No I don't think the destroy ending is renegade. Destroy with high EMS + Tali romance = best ending possible.

Hackulator compiled a bunch(~200) responses on a thread asking what people chose before EC and after, and how they rated the endings in both cases. Column B is their pre-EC choice, column E is whether they changed it, and columns C and D are their scores before and after.

Short answer: destroy is many times more popular.

Always Destroy for me as an 80 to 90% Paragon. At face value though I think that Control is a better option but it seems too risky to me.

Edit: I don't think there is any ending that really fits well with a Paragon but a perfect no additional cost, risks, or downsides choice would've cheapened everything else.

I was around 80% paragon, and I picked destroy. It's definately the most popular choice.

Honestly, I probably would have gone control, but the fact that destroy is the only ending you live in (even if it's just a half-breath) combined with you having just talked TIM into suiciding because he shouldn't bet humanitys existance on trying to control the reapers made me change my mind.

shepard is originaly a marine and marines follows orders and the orders are: Destroy

I always play Paragon and I always pick destroy.  It seems like the paragon thing to do.  Forcing control of the reapers seems more renegade to me as does forcing sythesis on everyone.  To me it felt a lot like the paragon choice of  taking a chance on the Krogan not starting a war and choosing to cure the genephage.  It feels to me like you are putting faith in the life forms in the Galaxy being able to make the right choices and not destroy themselves.  I believe when my Shep was able to save both the quarians and geth that I proved the Organics and Synthetics can work together.  So even if another synthetic race were to come about I feel like the Organics of the galaxy would have learned to work together with them.

EDIT:  In the EC Ending We're told everything that was destroyed could be rebuild.  Technicly couldnt we just rebuild EDI and the Geth as a "thank you" gesture of good will for everything they did for the galaxy?

I've played a pure Paragon Shep from the beggining of ME1, choosed destroy and i always will. It's a shame about the Geth&EDI, but it had to be done.
