In my experiments with modelling I've been using the 1.69 textures that Estelindis kindly sorted out and posted to the vault, however, I found that finding the right one was a tedious process of sorting through them one at a time in a TGA literate viewer.
So, I made myself a PDF guide (30 pages @ 20 per page) would it be of any use to anyone else?

<getting all...>
Yes! I love the docs Mistress put together, also. I'll love this :-)
Put it on the Vault and I'll add a link to CC Maker's Reference =)
Edit: Published. Thanks, big T
Edit 2: On a side note, those are only the high quality DDS textures Este converted to TGA. There are some other staples (notably the c_*gemstone* series) that are not in that texture pack. I.e. If you can't find it in there, that doesn't mean Este missed it. It just means that it is already available as a TGA somewhere else... Good hunting! =)
Edit 3: I have all the Bioware textures extracted into an "1.69" folder in my 3DS Max sceneassets. I go there first when I model, to reduce re-inventing the wheel.

Or ThumbView, which says it can display thumbs of DDS, also...

Have you tried Thumbplug_TGA? It only gives you thumbnails, but that helps :-)Tyndrel wrote...

Thumbplug TGA is really useful, but if one is going to be looking at images very often then I think that a PDF is probably better... Saves the system from regenerating the thumbnails?
I'm glad that the TGA versions of the 1.69 textures proved handy! It was really easy to decompress them, no bother at all. :-)

The thumbnails are very handy when I'm browsing for a particular texture. The PDF is very handy when I'm *shopping* for a texture, if you know what I mean :-)
Anyway, updated the CC Maker's Reference with links to Mistress's reference PDFs, too.
If anyone knows of more good maker's stuff to link to, let me know :-)
