 Hello,

I've finished Dragon Age Origins with a Human Female Noble (Rogue-class, married to Alistair, did Morrigan's ritual etc) and tried to import the game into Awakening.

In the opening, nornally you see the imported Warden walking down with Mhairi to the Keep but for some reason they slide along like people from South Park and everyone (except the Warden and darkspawn) is missing their head. Not to mention some of the building structures are missing too.

I tried reloading and re-importing the data about 3 times it comes up with the same result. Is this some sort of import glitch?

We'll need to know technical specs of your PC and if you have any mods installed. See the READ FIRST thread for more.

I recall that symptom being one that very low quality graphics hardware frequently had trouble with.  The minimum card is officially about as screwy as can be.  An X850 card wasn't actually required, but AMD had dropped the X700 and X800 from their driver upgrades.  (Omega and other modified drivers still work fine.)  The official Geforce 6600 GT is simply way too slow when dealing with shaders, and the Geforce 7600 GS was equally far too slow.

The least powerful Geforces for practical purposes were either the 6800 GS or the 7600 GT.

There is zero support for any onboard video solution.

Try removing the mods from the override folder and see if that helps. I suspect, given the number of mods you're running, that there's a conflict of some sort there. If that doesn't work, you may consider doing a complete uninstall/reinstall of the game, and NOT adding in the DAUpdater-installed mods.

Before doing any of that, you may want to try making a new Warden character for Awakening. If you don't have the same issues, that may confirm that the saved game you're importing, probably due to mods, have been corrupted. If you DO have the same problem with a new character, then removing the mods may help.

You can then add them back in one at a time to see which one(s) are causing trouble.

Okay:

Removed the DaUpdater Mods, then ran the program as a new and imported Warden. Didn't work.

Removed ALL mods from Override Folder, new and imported Warden, didn't work. Also the Warden is naked and is missing half a head.

Re-installed Override Folder with fewer mods, NO DAUpdater Mods, new and imported Warden, didn't work.

Well, I'm going to re-install the game anyway and see what happens. Truth be told, the last time I played and finished Origins (3 months ago), I imported the game into Awakening (with the same exact mods) and it worked fine.
