I waited in agony yesterday for the PS3 version to become available, I spent the most time on twitter yesterday than I have since creating my account just to keep updated with the release times. 

I'm happy to say that the time I spent waiting was more than worth it for what Bioware has given us.  
I've only completed the Sythesis ending so far, but I noticed the changes the Extended Cut made immediately.

Bioware did an outstanding job filling in all the plot holes left in the original ending (my biggest issue was what happened to my squad when Shepard got blown up) and to that I thank them. Also, I loved the epilogue sequence for the Synthesis, during my first playthough I was nearly in tears throughout the whole story, the ending they've added finally broke my threshold. I had one little tear come out as Liara placed Shepard's name on the memorial board and then another as she turned to EDI and hugged her while EDI narrated that Shepard died to give her life.

I look forward to playing through the other endings as well, if they are anything like the synthesis, I'm sure I got some more tears to shed for my Shepard.

All in all I will change my rating from a 9.0 to a 9.5. Thank you Bioware. ]
