So I just finished watching the EC Endings on Youtube. I haven't bothering to reinstall the game and reload my save files to play it myself. After watching the videos, I seriously doubt I ever will.

Don't get me wrong, the endings are better. I could see my Shepard choosing the control ending now. He was always a good guy but was just a bit of a jerk. (mostly paragon, a small amount of renegade).

However, I'm still disappointed by a few things:

1) The reject ending should have had an option where the reapers are defeated without the options the god-child gives. I'd say with the right choices (bringing peace to quarian/geth, curing genophage, high enough EMS) you should be able to convince the god child during reject that hey, you're full of crap and we can live in peace without your stupid cycle. Then Shepard rides off into the sunset with his/her LI. Another possibility is with 100% EMS, you defeat the Repears at terrible cost. Heck BOTH options should have been included.

2) There shouldn't even BE a god-child. Harbinger should have been the one explaining everything. At least it'd make more sense. Harbinger seems to be the chatty Repear anyway.

3) This whole mess should never have happened to begin with. Between the Day 1 DLC debacle and the ending controversy, Bioware seriously dropped the ball. I'll leave the speculation on why it dropped the ball to others.

4) No big fat apology. No seriously, I wanted to see a Big Fat Juicy Wet Apology from Bioware about how they realized they really screwed up with the Day 1 DLC/Ending and how they won't do it again.

Also, my previous decision stated in threads from months ago still stands. I will never pre-order or pre-purchase another Bioware game ever again. Don't confuse that with nevering buying a Bioware product. What I'm saying is I will wait until every game/dlc Bioware releases from now has been out for awhile. I will read reviews from all possible sources, I will watch youtube videoes, I will read these forums for reactions. If I like what I see, I'll give them my money. From this point forward my motto is: It's better to be spoiled than to be screwed.

Finally, I suppose I should thank Bioware, they've made me a smarter consumer!
